It's FINALLY Launch Day!

It's finally launch day!
After over a year of being in Vietnam and filming the build process of the Seawind 1370, we are finally launching this boat! Join us as the team at the factory do the final preparations before loading her onto a truck and launching her into the Saigon River. Nick jumps onboard for her maiden voyage to the dock where she'll spend a few days, having all the systems checked before the test sail up to Nha Trang.

I like how it started as "over 2-years" in a previous video, then turned into 3-years (@00:15) and then at the end of the video, it's apparently 4-years of waiting (@12:38). Meanwhile, your "An Update On Our Search For The Perfect Catamaran," where you announced you'll be working with SeaWind was announced in Feb 2020. Sheesh... has it been that long? I can't believe we've been following you on this journey for almost 4-years, from research, to making a decision, to all the discussions of theory, technical design, the build and finally... the first launch. How exciting! The years just breezed by; can't wait for YOUR boat to be built and delivered and seeing the journeys it takes you on. I know you've both been at it for well over 4-years, but looking forward to the next 4... and the next! And then a SeaWind of my own when the kids leave the house. Cheers! :)

Has to be "EMOTIONAL" having this amazing SEAWIND 1370 RR2 with your awesome knowledge, experience & input put into your sailboat. For me just starting out & to follow you guys, has given me inspiration to follow my dreams. I have honestly limited sailing experience but as I am close to Retirment & a love for the high seas, travel & adventure, my lifelong dream is wanting to sail around the world, no house included 😂 & buy a sailboat. Having reviewed on KZbin, I just love these sailboats with so much Australian & worldwide admiration for their design & most Importantly safety features. Awesome thanks for making these videos of the production team in Vietnam. I worked in the Seawind factory for 13 years in Australia and we developed the 1160 and 1250 models here. The processes of construction and moving the boats was much the same as they're doing it now in Vietnam and we suffered through some very hot days too. I like to keep in touch with how the company is going and it's so cool to see them still developing new models and providing great boats.
