Sometimes when Bird talks I wonder how he manages to function in a normal society. His brain works in a way I can only describe as... Bird.

Is it wrong to enjoy these almost purely for the nonsensical arguments and banter? Andrew, Bird, and Keith are always a good time. Poor Illusory, though.

Screws are something you can completely phase out of production pipelines using alternate recipes found on the crashed freighter hard drives and the new ability to rescan hard drives once per hard drive allows you to get those recipes sooner. I highly recommend it.

I second this. Screws suck, but alternate recipes can help phase them out. There are some great alternate recipes. Maybe go on some exploration expeditions soon?

I have Cast Screw recipe on my solo game. Too op: Iron Ingot + Constructer - Screws! And this was my second hard drive prize for a mere 40 iron plates?!

@@XSilver_WaterX I had a hard drive in my FICSMAS calendar which gave me Steel screws. Best present ever.

@@DominoPivot If you ever get the drive-plan for constructor = steel pipes, you in so much luck as the coal desert nodes have only ONE iron deposit and steel factories are very demanding of steel resources.

Bird's immediate "In the desert" hit me like a truck, made even better by him having only said a single word before that. Phenomenal start

I already love this series, can't wait till you guys get to the really cool new stuff in 1.0 Also a huge QOL thing: if you middle click while looking at any kind of building, it will automatically select it in your build gun.

In case yall don't know, you can press action keys to auto instead of holding. For instances: when crafting at the bench, press space bar and when manually mining ore, press e : ) also when grabbing leaves and wood, walk up to them hold e to pick up leaves then keep holding e while running around and looking at foliage.

Frame the shot to watch monster kill bird. Monster: Immediately shoots at birds. Bird: Doesn't notice as they duck under the shot to peck copper off the ground. Amazing.

Screws are the one resource you should be crafting locally, but possibly using downclocked machines so you don't have to load balance if you don't have a large source of iron. Making small factories specifically to build the stuff made of screws, however, is a good idea. It hides the existence of screws behind walls.

Love that you're doing Satisfactory again, now that 1.0 is out! You might already have recorded the next parts and/or not want backseating on the math of things, if so just disregard this comment. But: iron plate production takes one full smelter worth (30 ingots) of input, but iron rod production only takes half (15 ingots), so you can do two constructors making iron rods for each smelter making ingots. As of right now you're doing 1 smelter to 1 iron rod production, so you could double production there (or move some to iron plate production). Edit: you realized the stuff about conveyor capacity, so removed that bit.

Actually the lookout towers are great for exploration since you can build to climb up cliffs. Also devs made them cheaper to build for 1.0 : )

3:07:00 I usually do Caterium as a strong yellow (it's also used for electronics, so that works), and limestone as a very distinct beige, maybe even teetering to light brown.

Now wirh biomass being a real production line now. Should think about building a biomass powerplant and just have a seperate building. Need 3 to 6 constructors, to cover grass, wood and alien, spliters to bio mass burners a merger to hook 3 constructors to.

Faberge eggs arent food but little egg shaped art objects made of jewels and Gold etc. That's why if the developer of satisfactory had an addiction for em, they couldnt afford to hire mercer for some voice acting despite the success of their game

1:48:30 "This game was made by an asshole" in regards to the milestones. Bird has put into words what I could not. Every single tier is like "unlock what you need to build the key" And they act like it's some choice or whatever which milestone you pick but it has to be unlocked in order. It's like they want you to go through this loop of do thing manually then automate then logistic over and over and it's like I have steel why can't I do trains yet? Like the milestones are okay if you do the minimum possible in a rigged up setup to get the resources to unlock the milestones, less if you assume you can fully automate it end to end at scale. You end up so often being like "well it'd be easier to just afk at this point rather than scale up"
