I think it would be near impossible for MGA or MATTEL to top this disaster now. MGA really had the chance to come out with the doll release of the century and they messed it up SO bad. Just imagine how robbed and betrayed so many millennials are feeling right now from this collab. Bratz and Mean Girls were both a large part of our generation's pop culture so to see MGA assassinate both in one go instead of fully doing them justice makes me so sad. Thanks for keeping us updated with the saga PeachY. It was one hell of a ride!

I experienced as stated that I went thru flying colors with Captcha…and I was in line less than a minute…but to my surprise to see Regina in my cart. I ordered her 2 weeks ago but I was in line over 2-3+minutes then she was sold out. So I got the glitch saying it was unavailable, so I had to refresh my page that I went back in line again for over a minute then it was sold out. It really upsets me being the unfortunate one having Regina in my cart - heading stories that they went thru same thing like I did. Ugh, it’s very unfair practice,,,it’s like being in the lottery hoping you able to get the doll. 😭😭😭

I also had a Regina Ghost 👻 in my cart😢... And i think it hindered people that had this bug. Didnt see anyone with the Regina ghost get Karen&Gretchen. It appeared as sold out for me after 2 minutes during the queue. This whole release is the biggest limited edition mess i haver ever seen. MGA was not prepared nor did they care. Non existing stock, glitched website, captcha easily bypassed by bots, scalpers with 40+ Regina dolls on eBay, for Regina they limited to one per person but for Karen and Gretchen people could order two again, UK fans ignored, El Corte ingles cancelling orders left and right dropping the dolls at random times. In instagram they are replying only positive comments and ignoring everything else and deleting comments. Im not buying any limited edition by MGA in my life ❌

Omg, right? Like, it would be forgivable if they just had ONE fuck up. But the list you just gave, is so bad ! Honestly if that were my company, I'd feel so bad after the Cady drop went so badly, I would've changed the plan & told everyone in an email, 1st that I apologize. 2nd that they are all now for pre-order. But, it may take time to produce the dolls. I think everyone would be happy with that. But they do this sort of sell out dolls in minutes for recognition. Idk how it works, but something like that.

Regina’s prices are for bin; from 99.00 to 750.00. Cady is from 200.99 to 650.00. The two pack is 190.00 to 300.00. I’m glad I’m not really into Bratz at this time with all the issues that have gone on 😮. I hope the next time they decide to do a popular doll/dolls drop, that they fix these issues.

Maybe it feels ok to buy from scalpers at a price where you know that they didn’t make a profit. Retail price would already be a minus for them because shipping and ebay fees.

If you're going to buy from a scalper, give it at least a week if not two. There was as much stock for these as there was for Regina and Regina's prices are still dropping.

A lot of people (mostly in the States ofc) did get these two and seemed to have a better experience. I tried from the UK but was stopped by the checkout process that wouldn't accept my details. I noticed that there was one easy captcha and lots reported one captcha or having entered details for something else that allowed them to get the dolls without doing another captcha. I did see quite a few people who didn't get them either had troubles with the payment process or had Regina still in the cart. Quite a few people reported being kicked out of buying then placed back in the line only to be told that the dolls sold out. MGA will definitely do this again. They were loving the hype and hysteria. I don't understand the weird mentions of the UK when it seems they don't have more dolls to sell or are they planning to release more. It's so odd and all the bestie and snark from them on social media is off putting.

I was able to get the two pack i’m super excited about it because this is actually the one I wanted more than any and after the horrible experience I had with Cady I didn’t think it was possible. I’m so grateful that I’m sorry for anyone that messed out. I’ve been checking eBay and the sellers are dropping the prices on Regina because they’re not selling if we continue to wait. I’m sure we’ll find one out of reasonable price.

I feel like most people got them because Gretchen and Karen weren’t really the popular characters. I feel like everyone wanted to get cady and Regina so when it got to Gretchen and Karen no one really tried… I mean people tried, but I don’t feel like too much people tried either and I think even the scalpers knew because they kept on lowering the value of Gretchen and Karen presale. Idk if this makes sense 😂

I think a lot of people are kinda overreacting. Selling your bratz bc of this? Girl bye like that’s so dramatic. Lol dont beat me up but like there are really NO official collector bratz dolls. Only highly coveted ones. This was their first time trying a collector line and they didnt know how to combat the bot issue or how much stock exactly was too much/too little. Idk like i feel like we need to give them grace. Yes mean girls might be such a sentimental movie for you and YES their response was NOTTTTT the best but like this is their first collector line. Again, give them grace because the third drop was definitely waaaay better. They learned a little something. It took TIME but they still learned and im excited to see what they do next!

I think you are being a little too harsh on MGA and a little too lenient on Mattel. Mattel has had releases sell out much faster than these which also all went to scalpers, yet no one seems to be as harsh on them as they are on these. Realistically, the only effort it takes to get these dolls is opening a webpage and clicking add to cart and trying to win a coin toss. It sucks that they were so limited, and I'm sure if these came out before the Kylie flops, they would've been much more readily available, but I think we're honestly lucky this collab still made it to market due to all the flops Bratz had had in recent memory. All we can do is hope the next collab is given more stock and pray to the MGA gods that we get Tokyo-A-Go-Go repros. This collab according to the raw numbers was an incredible success for Bratz as a whole and it shows a bright future for potentially even better dolls. With this collab mostly in the hands of scalpers, if we all agree not to buy from them, we will force them to lower their prices to eventually being more reasonable. Personally, I prefer the world in which a few people miss out yet every unit of dolls is sold, rather than the world where too many units are produced and most end up going to landfill.
