I am in a pretty rough moment in life at the moment. I've been single after what i feel like has been my most passionate relationship for a year now, my best friend has moved to another town, and i'm constantly worried i may have upset him in some way or the other, i can't find the strength to hang out with my other friends anymore and the only person that's been by my side has been my little brother, i don't feel appreciated and wanted like i felt before and it has taken a toll on me, and i feel like i'm slowly shedding off all of my previous connections, weather i want to or not. I am still trying to get back into the swing of things, i'd like to start again living a sporty, healthy life, but i still feel so sluggish, and i can't bring myself to make the decisions i should. Not really sure why i'm ranting about it on a three year old video, but i hope i at least manage to wring out a sympathetic smile out of someone, and i hope it grows into a warm feeling, not a cold, pitiful one, thank you.

It’s not so much of the sad music that got me, it’s the nostalgia that hits me hard. I was a Nintendo gamer but, after losing my eye sight and my mom, I had to give up gaming for good even though it was something I loved. I especially lost it hearing Luma’s lullaby (Rosalina’s story) & the lullaby from Super Mario 64 & The Legend of Zelda music got me a little. Super Mario Galaxy 1 was my favorite video game of all time I think the fact Rosalina’s story having to do with losing her mother but, the game itself being so good it reminded me of how happy I use to be and now relating to Rosalina’s pain and feeling a connection to her is probably why Luma’s lullaby hits me the hardest out of all the songs in this video. Which is probably a little weird because she isn’t real and I’m 25 and have a plushie of her. I miss the days of the Wii & the 3DS the most.

Oh my gosh this mix is amazing. I appreciate the progression - especially by ending with Smiles and Tears. That had me choking up. . . Also, thank you for including Xenoblade X - it always gets forgotten but it really does have some great tracks that fit this mix ^^ (even though the easiest way to get me to bawl my eyes out is still with Xenoblade music)

Thanks so much for adding Mother music in this playlist and in the other sad one, it really makes my day. For some reason, those songs make me feel sad but safe at the same time, especially the intro to Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings (I just imagine Queen Mary's melancholy in Magicant). This isn't a criticism or anything, but I wonder if you've ever listened to the Super Paper Mario soundtrack? There's not a lot of sad songs but "Memory" always plays at my heartstrings :') . Anyway, wonderful selection of songs!

You know, i come here to help me cry to things that hurt me. I dont think thats the point of this comp. But...i cant help myself. It helps me remember great times that end up scolding me, when its just better to forget. If you're feeling this way, its better to forget. You'll end up picking scabs off, making scars. This song at the beginning reminds me of like if a story went like this You only see darkness for a second and out of nowhere you see splashing clouds of white and a flower field almost like a paint splatter. You open your eyes and see soft yellow and pastel flowers with a girl with flowy light lavender hair as she walks to you with her pastel flower themed dress ,flowers grow in all different ways , some sprout up , some sprout in different angles , but what matters is that nothing is the same , no flowers or grass looks the same it’s all different in beautiful ways , she walks to you while she steps on soft grass , she sits next to you as you and them watch the sunset as it turns into a shining night sky with stars and purple clouds all around, the sky is wrapped around you , as the purple hair Demi girl looks at you she says “are you okay, you valid for whatever happened “ and “it’s okay to cry”. At that moment you let yourself go , you let those tears out and how you feel , she wraps her arms around you , not too tight but just at the right moment in time to hug you , you watch the flower field and stars together, she decides to take you to a place , you and her walk in the flower grass field to a garden , with vines , and dead flowers covering the entrance of a broken fence door , you open it just in time to see what she calls “moon flowers” they bloom at night , you see the un blooming flower start to shine , it shines as it blooms into a waxing moon shape , It shines with a bright pastel warm yellow. You see that even dark sky’s have a light , you sit and watch the moon flower as your eyes get sleepy she says “good night I hope we can go flower picking next time!” Your eyes are closed, you only feel warmth and the touch of the soft flowers.
