Outback Gold Fever

Outback Gold Fever

2 жыл бұрын

Mining for gold is not only physical work but also hard work for the backhoe with the rock hammer.
Adrian constantly services and fixes our main digging tool while I keep on metal detecting for gold on the already dug out ground. With the rock breaker being out of action, we still had a good day on the gold.

Thanks krissy, i just discovered your utubes and watched them all up to latest of 8 days back. Where were you 22 years back when i sold my farm, bought the then new extreme, and have enjoyed the last 22 years as a part time detector hobbist. I have bought all the minelab machines till the 7000. Last winter in WA , 9 weeks on road with 5 weeks detecting turned up 300 plus nugs for 4 and half ounces of gold, largest was 5.3g down 20 inches. I am now 77 years old and am turning into a keyboard warrior. Really enjoy your current lifestyle and thanks for putting it on utube for me to go down memory lane. I have 22 years of experience which will probably go to waste from here, but i have taught many beginners over the years (they are now lifetime friends). Keep on with your hobby/lifestyle, there must be a lot of people like me enjoying watching your vids, thanks again, and by the way, u have my email address, if ever i might be of help in any way, just send me a email, kev

G'day Krissy I was hoping you might hit a bit more alluvial under that cap rock, but the fact your finding consistent pieces in & under it most probably makes it just payable enough to go a bit deeper like Adrian suggests. Our welding instructor taught me that bronzing does not like vibration & tends to separate as it is only "sweated" on to the job. Good luck & hopefully the BIG patch is ready to be found. ⛏️💰.

Hi Krissy! Unhinged here! Glad to see your enjoying yourself. You looked tired and perhaps as if you were trying to put on a smile for us the last couple of weeks. Who knows what goes on out there when your not filming. 😁 I was soooo happy to see U hanging on to the nugget container BUT he got his MIT's on it again. Please tell him your turn IS FOR THE WHOLE BLOODY DAY!!! He's definitely a naughty boy. He needs spanking. Don't you do it. Might get a little out of hand.🤪 That's his face not yours. Great to see the gold is getting just a little better. I've been trying to work out how much you have found there so far? Could you help me with that

Old school trick as you push overburden up onto windrow tip and spread each bucket down the face heavy stuff will roll n slide down face. Make a little flat area beside to stand on and run detector over each bucket full as you Go saves wondering if you missed anything on stock pile. We did this make ING heap leach dam on big scale in low grade laterite deposit. Our finds payed a large fuel bill and helpful to keep crew motivated no one complained about a turn on the detector me old bosses cry Move it check it why wouldn't we thanks for sharing your story good one

Hi Krissy.. Unfortunately as you said..There is always down time when using Machines in those harsh and challenging environment… That’s why Machinary maintenance is so very important.. So to cover the cost you definitely need to find the Gold to make it payable.. So hence just detecting is definitely more profitable once you are on a good patch of gold.. Thanks for sharing this Krissy and have a wonderful day. Cheers Tony 👍🍻⛏🤓

Krissy I have a question if you have time. I watch the Opal hunters and a number of Gold folks working with quite a bit of very expensive machinery. What I see is prospectors finding nuggets 2+ kilos. Finding $300 000 a day. I mean if you and your friend were to do that, with only your backhoe, profits would be amazing, but these guys seem to need thousands of dollars a day just to keep their heads above water! There are very few who just stick with detectors and they do okay. My question is Where is the balance point? Adrienne has the one machine out there, so you guys are still in the realm of healthy profit. How far do you go before it is like grabbing a Tiger by the tail? You can't just give up, you have to keep going? Great video, you are so determined and patient! All my best to you both.

Hey mate - with all the drama from the ever breaking rock breaker and tractor, why not get a mini digger with rock breaker and then its under warranty (and NEW). Be a lot cheaper to run and the tractor can still be a front end loader for moving bulk material. These chinese mini diggers and breaker combos are about the cost of your new trailer.....
