It's all so beautiful, and I'm so touched by the barstool area for your daughters! I can't WAIT to share some time with my Grandkids!bBelieve it or not, all 4 of my grown sons went to summer sewing camp with me, and 2 of the 4 still sew to this day!

It is going to be amazing I'm so excited to see it. I bet your just over the moon. The damaged drawer seems to be damaged on the left arm does, that hinder your drawer from opening? I wouldn't have wanted the hassle of taking it back either but I think they should offer you some sort of compensation. And great idea keeping the protective film on!!! Can't wait for the rest congratulations

Purely because of the layout. IKEA is great when you have simple designs and because mine got more complex, i needed custom to reduce the DIY headache.

Do you know what the weight limit on the ikea drawers? I was thinking about using Ikea for my remodel and wanted to put all of my stamps and dies in the drawers but I'm worried about the weight.

I went with squared off corners. I had them in my last craft room, they look so much cleaner and nicer and we never have had issues.

If you had made the center an island instead of a peninsula you wouldn’t have to walk around the counter to get to the otherside
