Lily never give up yt! Thank you for your openness and honesty. I guess that's the only thing that can save us these days. To be honest about everything and not pretend that life is perfect. Because it isn't! each of us has our own problems, normal lives and responsibilities that sometimes we are unable to fulfill. Life these days is overwhelming. I also use a psychotherapist. my daughter too. It's normal now. in the past, the use of such help was stigmatized, it proved that someone was abnormal. I love long videos, I don't like tiktok, Instagram is ok but requires a lot of concentration when consuming content. Long forms on yt are a moment to relax and breathe because there is no rush here. I can stop for a while and be with you. hugs!❤

Love you being open about therapy, I do agree I feel it’s a generational thing with our parents when you have to have to stiff upper lip with certain things in life. You and Zoe Sugg are the only two KZbinrs I’ve always watched as I still find you so relatable from back then until now ❤

You are so right... therapy is a wonderful way to work through unsettling or tough times but you really do have to have courage! I think a lot of people are afraid of dealing with their own feelings when things are more difficult or unpleasant. It takes courage to be vulnerable and face whatever is painful or not so nice! Bravo to you for having the courage to face the more difficult and learn ways to cope and deal with the good, the bad and the ugly! Life is full of it all and a healthy life often needs to find ways to not let the bad and the ugly taint the good or even completely change our path and derail our lives! Good on you! 🥰❤️🥰

Lily I learned from Tik Tok that if you are using rosemary oil in your hair you need to dilute it with another oil! Otherwise it can actually damage your hair! You might already do this but just in case

Hi Lily, you quickly touched on the Avene face creme you use when your skin flares up. I started using it ages ago when you first mentioned it (THANK YOU) and now it seems Avene discontinued it. My pharmacist says it has been replaced by the line tolérance control, which doesn’t seem to work as well. I am based in Italy, do you know if that’s case in UK as well?

Milk in the UK has its labels and bottle tops colour-coded: Blue - full-fat milk. Green - semi-skimmed (or raw milk) Red - skimmed. 😂 😊

You should defo get an Air Up bottle. They are amazing!!! You can see the water and it’s just completely pure water but the pod you load on top of the bottle makes the water smell/taste amazing. All the cool kids have them :) my son has never drank so much water.

Here in the states milk with the red cap is usually whole milk, but some brands go rouge. You may end up buying the wrong milk, if you solely base your purchase on the color of the lid.

I always use the Kerastase 8 hour night serum on my hair the night before I wash my hair. My hair is drier lately so I’ve also been putting a pump of my hair oil in my lengths and ends over top of the night serum. Ooh and as a UK person red milk is always skimmed.

As a person of your Mum's age (actually older) therapy is definitely generational. My son and daughter in law are both psychologists, and they tell me that they often see 20 & 30 somethings who come to discuss things that used to be discussed with families or close friends, but with families so scattered about, they often don't have anyone else. I know you live close to your family, so that's not it in your case. I also think that often younger people expect everything to be worked out & need a solution - and not to have to live with a problem. Not sure if that's good or bad, and not criticizing just offering some older insight.

That's so interesting. I'm in my mid 30s and very lucky to have close group of friends who live nearby, we often meet up for coffee after school drop off and our WhatsApp group is called "weekday coffee therapy". I don't do actual therapy but I don't know what I'd do without those girls

Going to therapy has been the best investment in my health/life I've ever made. It's hard work, for some people it's REALLY hard work, and painful and unpleasant and painful all over again but truly, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from a few (or a lot of) sessions. The unfortunate side of this is that, unless you can afford to pay for therapy privately, the NHS just can't cut it with their "6 sessions" so many people who really need help are unable to get it.
