Good luck with the surgery. I hope you heal well. Going forward - body dysmorphia does not go away with more surgeries. It will persist until you do the internal work. It must be very hard to constantly see photos and videos of yourself with the negative self talk. Remember - you are not your thoughts. You must decide to not ride that train. Sometimes people find it helpful to refrain from taking photos and engaging in social media while they attempt to thwart the negative ruminations.

I think in a way this video kind of helps me, because I'm relatively new to transitioning and I feel dysphoria all the time but then when I look at you I always just think you look exactly like a cis woman and there's no possible way you could have dysphoria. And so I guess seeing that it's something that we all have to deal with even someone as super pretty like you it kind of helps put things in perspective for me I suppose. “I just want this procedure so I can finally start living my life.” I can’t believe a surgeon signed off on performing this procedure if you expressed this mindset to them. This isn’t how body dysmorphia or gender dysphoria works. This mindset decreases the distress short term, but perpetuates or escalates the distress longterm. Terribly sad to see someone who has potentially lifelong surgical complications on their genitals and urethra moving to experimental, cosmetic surgery on such an important organ as the larynx. You think risking the structural integrity of your larynx and therefore gambling the functionality of your voice, which you use every day and allow you to make these videos, will allow you to “finally get past” your mental health issues: I guarantee with 100% certainty that you will still have gender dysphoria once you shave down the front of your larynx. You inverted your penis and still have, apparently, “severe” gender dysphoria…and now also potentially lifelong complications. The problem is not your body, so stop trying to change it. Your obsession with passing is pointless, bc anyone important to you, who matters, will know you are trans anyways. You have to come to terms with your maleness as a trans-woman, NOT woman bc changing your sex is impossible, in order to make a dent in your dysphoria and body dysmorphia without collecting surgeries and the complications and risks that come with them.
