So it seems like the five figures we saw are related to the story at the beginning. Lady Dimitrescu seems to be the bat king. The weird doll and the lady in black seems to be the dark weaver thing. The ugly blob thing seems to be the fish king. Which leaves Heisenberg AKA hammer dude as the horse. The witch at the end of the story however seems to be Mother Miranda. I say this seems like a decent-ish theory.

Ya. I agree with this 100%. If I recall correctly, the town map also has the 4 monsters in it, and they are placed close to the locations where you encounter said bosses: A bat/gargoyle creature near the castle, the weaver near Beneviento's house (the doll lady), the fish king in a reservoir (where you meet Mr. Fish Blob) and the horse near the factory.

The days of innovation are gone especially for crapcom. PS2 era was the last era of great innovations and adventure games. Most things later are copy-pasted crap with basically just 10% of what an actual game can offer. Crapcom doesn't know wtf to do with their IP even if their life depends upon it. Sure the graphics evolve but no one utilize the game engines and tools full potential. Even the open world games are linear and force you to follow a certain path which renders it not being open world. And there is barely any actual gameplay value. We came to the age of scripted walking sims and barely any actual gameplay.

Ethan's hands never gets a break. In the previous game, his left hand got sawed off by Mia and Zoe had to staple it back. Now, that same left hand is missing a chunk and a couple of fingers. Also Gab, kudos to you for being able to plow through the entire RE7 just in time to play this game.

Only 20 minutes in and there’s already so many interesting details. The covered mirrors in the Winters house, Mia’s medicine, the crows, the garlic hanging in the cellar. The recap also reminded me of the RE movie recaps as well as the soldiers infiltrating the seemingly normal family’s home.

My personal theory is that Rose is somehow infected. One of the documents you can see in the house says that tests for fungi were done on Rose and that could be the results the doctor was talking about. And for Mia, I think Chris killed her because she is still infected and was beyond saving. That could be what Mia was worried about. Not Rose but herself
