I enjoyed this video very much. It was really nice hearing your thoughts as you went through the cards. I had a moment when I thought, "Wow, I really appreciate her vulnerability in her sharing." And it was great hearing that you're a fellow Piscean! At first, I had dismissed this deck (and Work Your Light), but the more videos I watch on it/them, the more I could feel myself coming around. Thank you so much! I have both the Tarot decks by the artist (Daniel Noel) and find that I instantly clicked with her Moonchild Tarot, it it has been a harder sell with her Starchild Tarot (Akashic Records) deck. I think I just need to give it more love! I think the 2 oracles are easy to dismiss because they are so “pretty”, but I have been pleasantly surprised that they can pack a punch on their own and work well with a variety of decks. Thank you for taking the time to watch!

I very much relate to your stories of your upbringing. I was raised as a JW and the lifestyle and mindset is extremely similar to that of Mormons, so I definitely understand where you're coming from.

When you step away from those types of dogmas, it’s really like seeing the world in full color and possibilities, isn’t it? Sadly, it takes awhile to fully flush it out of your system. My best friend in High School was JW and we would often compare notes. I haven’t been able to find her through SM and wonder often if she is still practicing.

That depends if you believe or are interested in dipping your toes in the concept of “Starseeds”. The mood of this deck is more muted in color palette and more contemplative in nature. I am now just starting to go through the guide book as I’m new to the concept of this deck. I will be working with it the entire month of March. I’m enjoying it. As of now, I would say that I would reach for Work your Light more often, but I’m glad that I have both and this definitely has a place in my collection. There are some really good spreads in the guidebook.

Hi! I feel more connected to this decks artwork (i know theyre by the same artist but it just feels DIFFERENT) do you think this works as an all-round oracle not just for star seeds? because i’m looking for a versatile oracle, but i’m not sure if i’ll like the work your light?

I find that I reach for the Work Your Light Oracle more than if reach for Starseeds. I’ve gone through the Starseed book and find that it is definitely directed toward Starseeds, but with oracle cards you can interpret them as you see it in various readings. I tend to use the Starseed deck for readings with just the deck itself. I use the Work Your Light Deck In readings with Tarot cards. Go with what you are drawn to!

We Starseeds relate to being, system busters. You and I, and most likely other starseeds, are similar in that we come here to break up heavy, down troddden, outdated ways of living on this earth. I was brought up as a Jehovah's Witness; now, I enjoy my updated, Openminded Life.

@@NotoriousPND429 Wow. Your comment brought joy to me:) It is nice for me to know that you too have roots stemming from JW World. And boy, what a world that is. I am at the point that I do find goodness in all of my earthly encounters. But honestly, I have spent so much time unravelling JW teachings that were Engraved into my Brain. I knew I would have to leave the congregation because the truths I could feel in my heart did not match these things that the Elders preached. The JWs did show love as long as you were, "in" and I liked the close family feel, but some things were totally Off. I did not agree with things what were required of me in order to be called a good respectable person in their eyes. For example, Why do I have to go door to door in order to prove my love for God? and Did God really want me to give, "talks" ? ? ? Honest and true, I love God, and if he wanted me to give "talks" I believe I would feel this in my heart. I give You so Much Credit and Love for standing up for Yourself and for seeing the bigger picture beyond Jehovah's Witnesses. You are a beautiful Lightworker of God! Ty for touching My Heart today

I an not ok with the phrase, "Moving from my will to thy will. I step out of the way." I am not giving myself over. That seems very Abrahamically religious to me and that is a place I do not want to go. This deck has a God card and the last deck and Jesus' grandmother card. Too much Christianity for me, so I will not be purchasing either. Too bad because I like the artwork and was just hoping to take out a card or 2 but I think we are fundamentally not in sync. I will pass on this deck and the previous.

I agree with many of your sentiments. I filmed this video awhile ago, but I think I did mention that there were some trigger cards for me. I am still in the process of fully navigating my way out of my Mormon upbringing and trying to figure out what will be my path in the future. Some things I am certain of, other things are not so clear, but I’m reading and researching everyday to find what resonates. When I read for myself, I pull out those trigger cards. When I read for someone else, I will leave them in or take them out depending on their background and preferences or will not use it at all. I have had wonderful readings with the Work Your Light Deck. The Starseed is sometimes hit or miss and I don’t reach for it that often.

@@oldsoulmermaid1543 It must be very difficult overcoming Mormon programming. I live in the south, the bible belt, and find the super, overt, everywhere christianity overwhelming. I was not raised in a religious home but went through a christian period, I still feel suffocated by local culture. I am also a vegan in the land of meat adding to my feelings suffication. I hope your jouney is wonderful and peaceful. Loving yourself is so healing for you and your child/ren. Incredible strength you have.

I know that sometimes someone will be nasty and hit a nerve but I bring that to my goddess and my self and deal with it as an opportunity to work on something. I am stronger. The nasty people never examine themselves because inside they are ugly and they inside they know it. Imagine the terror they would feel by meeting themselves. Words hurt but you have something more. By the way, I too am a pisces. :)

As a starseed, old soul, oracle and empath, I found this deck to be full of misinformation, contradictory messages, 'facts' unsupported by evidence and negativity. I would not recommend this deck be used by anyone, especially not by newly awakened souls.

@@oldsoulmermaid1543 Hello, I wrote an 18 page 'review' of this deck, because I found so many 'mistakes'. The worst one was the description of a 'typical' empath. But what she described is an 'unbalanced' empath, someone who doesn't know how to work with their gift. By publishing this book as an 'expert', Rebecca has now 'programmed' empaths into believing her 'version', thereby not giving them a chance to learn about themselves or their gift. There are so many negative expressions used in the guidebook, one card is titled "You're Not For Everyone", the title, out of context, made me feel awful! This book is supposed to be helping humans be more 'awakened', but an awakened soul understands the concept of 'positivity', the author doesn't. The information she provides about 'manifestation' is incomplete; she even goes so far to say 'you don't need experience' to practice this earth magic, but you actually DO need to know a lot of concepts that all fit together to make your dreams come true. If you read the guidebook, you should be able to see how she consistently contradicts herself. Constantly.. You're better off joining some Facebook groups for Starseeds and/or Blue Ray Beings. Don't get too caught up in the information you find, it's really a journey to get to know who you are as a Human. @@jennycar6054 hi! You seem very experienced, but I own this deck and I just wanted to put in my 2 cents on how I interpret the cards such as "you're not for everyone". A lot of people stray away from oracle decks because they sugarcoat our feelings so much, and in reality we all look to these cards for guidance and reassurance, and part of gaining reassurance is being aware of our negative feelings and the truths of how we are. Then it's our job to accept it and grow from it! We can't live lives full of blind positivity. Our lives are not all sunshine and rainbows and we can't always expect that to be reflected in readings. It's good to have cards that'll validate your feelings and keep you in check! Maybe I misinterpreted that portion of your comment, but I did enjoy reading it a lot. Great to hear other takes on this deck
