I'm only about 3 minutes in as I write this, but I feel the first thing that needs to be stated is that it is normal and natural for the average person to find a covered face unsettling, regardless of intention. There are deep psychological things to go into regarding "personas" and the affects on the psyche of wearing/ setting others wearing masks, but we don't have to go that deep. Simply put, all you have to do is imagine a bad, amoral person, and imagine what they could do and get away with while covering their face. The religious and cultural significance of such covering is secondary to this natural and quite rational response. While it may mean one thing to a religious person, to an amoral person it represents opportunity to do harm unscathed. If we can't acknowledge this simple reality there is no point conversing about it. This is not to call out the Muslim religion specifically, and while there is more to it than that culturally, the burden is on those communities that wear face coverings for cultural and religious reasons to understand that they live in a broader society, and people have every right to be concerned at potential abuses or even the simple inconvenience of it. The court room example was a perfect one.

Agreed. Why come to europe to live if the muslim culture is so wonderful...the fact its also a tool of female oppression...and there were wonen recently killed in muslim countries for taking the body sails off. If you love britain...why shroud yourself. Fir one youll get a vitamin d deficiency.

Agreed, similar issues have arised when covid hit an everyone had to wear masks. But even though they only covered the lower face. But full face covering is difficult as culturally here if you were covering up your face odds were you were up to no good. Not saying every Now don't get me wrong, Muslim woman that covers are automatically untrustworthy an up to no good. It's a calash in culture and now unfortunately drama.

The AI is pretty annoying, but I don't think it's her AI voice, it appears to be part of the original video she is reacting to. But yeah pretty pointless to post a video where an AI voice literally talks over half the conversation, not sure what they were going for there, it really disrupts the flow
