Tyler didn't ask about the money at all because he wanted to make a video asking the family instead. I grew up not far from Odd. Just down in Mercer County to the south. Ive met them several times. For the most part theyre nice people, just trying to survive with the hand they were dealt. People mock them and bully them. Mark actually changed that a LOT by exposing them to the world the way he has. People in the area really dont notice them and never have. Theyre just the neighbors. Everyone knows who they are and their story, but theyre just another family to us. It's messed up. The whittakers are hurt worst in this. They were given 159k. Inflation seems to have downplayed how much money that IS in people's minds (It can be life changing for someone in that position). That 150k could've been used to build up credit for one of them, and then they could've put a down payment on a house. Some people just can't be helped, and they are a prime example of that, so much inbreeding that they aren't even functional. They should all be in a group home. This seems to be further exacerbated by the fact that they can't do physical things for themselves either, so they aren't even able to save money on labor to fix the house, they need a group home ASAP, and no one should have tried to help them financially in the first place, unless it was for a group home.

It’s sort of interesting to watch rich people who aren’t familiar with environments like this be all surprised at the family’s lack of gratitude/financial literacy. As someone who has family very similar to that, I can tell you they just aren’t super empathetic or socially adjusted. And they definitely don’t know how to handle money. Have you seen the recent update on the Whittakers that Mark posted since the video you’ve highlighted here was made? Larry’s daughter contacted Mark crying and carrying on, said she needed money because Larry died. Mark obliged, gave her $1000. She Said what day the funeral was etc… so Mark decided to go out to the Whittakers and pay his respects. Turns out Larry’s daughter was lying, Larry’s not dead and she just needed the money for drugs as she along with other family members have drug problems along. The way it was explained these extended family members know theres a gofundme and money to be had, they are getting money in my view, unscrupulously from Betty and Larry to fund their drug habit. So, thats more than likely where a huge chunk of the money went. Mark is still helping the Whittaker after ALL that. He’s a stand up guy. Tyler should rethink his path he’s on and clean up his act. There’s a reason why Mark helps and protects the Whittakers.

So after watching this, a video popped up titled The Death of Larry Whitaker on Softwhoteunderbelly. Basically in the video, Larry's daughter BJ calls Mark asking for koney to help with costs for Larry's funeral. So he flew out to go pay his respects although he knew this wasnt true. In the video BJ clearly states that shes seen bank records and added up to around $150,000 that he's given to them from the money raised for them, not to mention what he's given other family members individually. Bj apologized for lying about her Dad dying and admitted it was because of her drug problem. It's just sad that Mark had to make a video explaining the money in response to Tyler's video. I know Marks true followers know he's being honest about everything, he clearly cares for these people and wants what is best for them. I was just glad to see that someone in their family knows exactly what he's givem them and how much he's helped them over the years and that it was on video for everyone to see that he has been honest the entire time, other than the contract excuse for not wanting to give out their address and contact info. ⚠️I’M SORRY I DIDN’T INTEND FOR THIS TO BE SO LONG😭⚠️ Makes me wonder what the money was spent on. And I don’t say this in an accusatory manner, I say it genuinely. I can’t remember how long the GoFundMe’s were running if Caleb said that but if it was just the necessities to live like was mentioned for this very large family, I’m still not understanding where the money that was asked for went. We know it certainly was for nothing extravagant like a fancy car or things like the newest iPhone or MacBook because we’ve literally seen where/how they live. They don’t even have the mental capacity to understand the newest and latest gaming console or would want or need a state of the art PC gaming set up unless they have a secret room in their house with a door hidden behind a painting on the wall and they all just pretend to have the mental disabilities they have when cameras are around. That’s obviously not the case. So even with it being a larger family to support, I’m just not seeing the numbers adding up and I don’t know where this oddity lays. I don’t know, do you or anybody reading this get what I mean? We know for a fact that Mark had the money in his possession and was asked by them often for thousands of dollars at a time (which imo I really do believe he gave them what they asked for whenever they asked for it, ig the frequency and explanation he seemed to say they spoke of doesn’t seem too make sense with how much money is all GONE now). Is there something sketchy happening on one of their ends? And who is it and for what because at this point there is absolutely nothing left like Mark stated in the video. And they raised a lot of freaking money before it started to be withdrawn. I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything so I’m not, I’m just actually stumped with where all this money went and I feel like the question of what happened to the money isn’t being thought about enough. Even more thought provoking is if their living situation is as bad as it is (aka just barely scraping by seemingly) and with their cognitive functions leaving them on disability or unable to work, how did they literally survive at all before this GoFundMe was made? Sorry this turned into a Ted Talk lol. This situation just doesn’t add up to me and I don’t know if other people are also thrown off by this in the way I’m talking about or not. In all honesty, Mark’s GoFundMe/bank statements should’ve been transparent with his viewers, and ESPECIALLY the donors since the very beginning. That’s where the problem arose from. That, plus the family absolutely needs someone to handle their finances. I live about 30 minutes away from the Whittakers and their house has seen some pretty significant improvements over the past few years. My best friend used to live 5 minutes away from them, so we used to go past their house a lot riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. Which would've been between 2004-2008 when we were in high school. Even just a few years ago the house as well as their vehicles used to be way worse than they are now, that money has to be coming from somewhere. So it definitely doesn't seem like they're being taken advantage of... seems more like Mark and his viewers have helped the family tremendously.
