I was 17 in 1975 when I saw Kathryn Kuhlman at a conference in Israel. The whole atmosphere was holy spirit electrifying ! A teenager girl who was sitting next to me was screaming and jumping up and down that her shortened leg had grown when Kathryn called out the healing for legs. Was truly an amazing night. I'm now 65 and that same holy spirit has never left me. Praising Jesus brings you in the presence of God and the holy spirit is activated ! He works through anyone who will surrender their will to His and trust in His leading. It is an exciting life to walk in the spirit of love !

That means God has something big in your future: big breakthroughs, big opportunities, big blessings, big victories. If you could see the promotion on the other side of those problems-if you could see the healing, the favor, the fulfillment-you wouldn’t be discouraged. You would go through that difficulty in faith, praising when you could be complaining, thanking God that He’s fighting your battles, knowing that it’s all a setup for a new level of your destiny. Please believe me when I say that when I was 18 God convicted me set me free and filled me just as this young man. I felt the righteousness and Holiness as He convicted me and my heart burst with true godly sorrow and as I responded to his still small voice He fully and completely washed me making me completely free from all sin and filling me with the most amazing love this was true regeneration! Unfortunately through great discouragement from my own mother truly believing I was on drugs and not listening for God and seeking a church I soon walked away and eventually was buried by the pain of wrong decisions that turned into a life of destruction through drug addiction to crack cocaine but again at the age of 28 somehow a door was opened to a Christian program in Teen Challenge right upon entry the pastor led me in a simple prayer that filled my heart with tears right away the very first day I was filled with joy knowing I was in a perfect place as my spirit leaping with joy as I listened to teachers that came in to share the life changing words of God! Very early the very first morning I woke with such joy and found myself walking up the stairs into this spacious attic on my face making this decision to pray that led to sometimes hours weeping in the presence of God and this was so life giving! After a couple weeks continuing this beautiful amazing time on my face before the lord the pastor gave us students a teaching on being filled with the Holy Spirit and at the end asked if any wanted to be filled and myself and 4 other students stood and waited as pastor Rick Gullage spoke the words “fill them Lord” laying hands on our head and I so happened to be last to be prayed for and as he laid his hand on my head and asked the Lord “fill him Lord” that very second I felt this warm beautiful oil run down my head and simultaneously the most eloquent unknown words (to us) effortlessly rolled off my tongue! I was filled with the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues it was beyond beautiful ! We all were amazed and oh how love and life filled our hearts! Ok, even though I experienced Gods restoration and a love I thought I could never turn again EVER! but I did . You see I took offense with a person maybe person’s in the program and yes the program staff and that caused bitterness which caused me to leave the program and I would return to the program 3 more times my last being 2004 and mind you each time I left returning to a life of addiction that led to horrible sin that has hardened my heart to a point today I shove needles full of hard life taking drugs into any vein that is still able to be used and even numerous times surly facing death as one incident I was shot in my head lodging the bullet in my skelp saved by a godly obedient aunt who God woke her out of sleep telling her to pray for my cousin and myself! That hasn’t even changed me or the near death because of overdosing to having my neck cut open in need of a spinal fusion after a bacterial infection from dirty needles! I’m 50 and have no hope but I do hope someone might read and to be sure don’t think after such a life changing encounter with a loving but righteous and Holy God it all can’t be lost please understand offense will come and can very easily cause bitterness that leads eventually to a hard heart

Please pray for me and my 82-year old hubby who has bad dementia and is in a wheelchair. We have to move from our rental unit by this Saturday and i have not been able to find economical and wheelchair friendly accommodation, which is very stressful. I was wanting to give up all hope, thinking that we must be second-rate Christians and God would not show us favour or bless us. But then i realised that our traumatic circumstances ( details too lengthy to explain here) are not Him punishing but the enemy seeking to hinder and stop what was being done for God's Kingdom and His glory. I also realize that He is for me - not against me - and that He does want to help us. Time is so short though. Please pray for a miracle to come our way before Saturday. ! Thank you.

God can show up anywhere and with different ways, and His Ways are higher! So lets stay excited for God's Presence to flood us all!

What a wonderful witness that reveals the truth that God turns all our darkness into light. It is true that the worst of hell you go through in the pit that the devil drags you down into, The more glorious you realize Jesus' Salvation is and how precious his life blood was to save us. I don't know what makes some of us blindly go down the dark end until you hit the bottomless pit, But when you reach for salvation in Jesus, He is there for you with open arms ready to pull you up and take you out of your rags and give you your clean white clothes of salvation and righteousness once you repent and turn to him. One thing I learned about being in heaven and in hell is that the value of Salvation is priceless. Nothing in this world could be the greater treasure than what Jesus did for us on the Cross.

This is SO perfectly necessary for me right now. I've been through, experienced, all of these exact things. I was seeking God like you said and I had such wonderful moments, and then had some rough things happen that gor me distracted and so when I started back I felt like I was starting over but it's definitely been because I was placing expectation on how He was going to show up. And I was like "why dis this work then but now now" but it's because before I was doing just that... sitting there just saying Father I want to see YOU and I will just keep showing up until YOU show up... vs now when I've been desperate but also distracted and honestly, disappointed because it didn't "feel" like it did before. Thanks so much for being honest even about sitting for a long time and "nothing happening". I felt like I wasted time and that I just wouldn't get back what I had. Oh, this just confirms so much for me. Thank you, both!
