Its £150 fine for littering and honestly its horrible they are allowed to charge that much. Seen an auditor trying to prevent them from issuing fines last week because if you pick up your litter and depose of it you can ignore them and walk off and they cannot do a damn thing. But still I think people who do this are a job are proper scumbags its as bad as baliffs.

When i was a kid, Royal Mail meant two deliveries per day, very smartly presented staff, lovely clean vans and vehicles.......what a fall from grace.

Yep, I was a postie in the 70's, had to get up at the crack of sparrow-fart, but loved the job. Two deliveries a day, the first one was 1st class letters only, done by 9am, then lunch, then the 2nd delivery of second class letters and small parcels, finished by 12.30. Always plenty of overtime after that sorting parcels and stuff if you wanted it, great fun. Nowadays where I live, we're lucky if we get a delivery of anything by 3 in the afternoon. Not fun if you're waiting for a parcel.

I was working for Royal Mail and lasted a week they treated me like absolute rubbish not trained to there standard according to there induction expected to now absolutely everything in seven days including sorting of mail and deliveries to peoples doors… they treat new starts like absolute shxt worst of it too is the people I was put with said you will succeed in the job after a couple of weeks … I had learned my route and was a little slow at the mail sorting but was getting there… had posties laughing behind my back and no support from management.. it’s a shxt show and absolutely disrespectful to new starts… should see the way they treat your parcels

I worked in the post office back in the day. The Assistance Inspectors/AI's/ aka Managers, used to hover around the posties like prison wardens. We'd be sorting the mail into pigeon holes, get shouted at, if we talked to each other... I used to take the piss out of them. The posties have my sympathies, the managers act like tyrants.

Great look into postal in UK. In USA postal regulations specifically permit photography in the lobby areas of post office. It's even posted on the wall with other rules. Still some employees don't know the rules or don't care.

I will guarantee, that no restrictions in the public lobby exist on Royal Mail. I've worked in many, people film all the time for evidence, like where is my parcel etc. Was never an issue where I worked. The Royal Mail is not a public service, was privatized, in 2015. But its supposed to offer a public service as per the contract. 6 days a week, except Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Obviously working for the Royal Mail is frustrating, I have never seen so many miserable people in one place probably due to the manager wearing a kiddie attractive jumper, he must be one of those people. The smokers there are not lazy they don't give a fig. Oh well nice video though.👍

My late father in law worked for the PO and GPO for over 45 years. He started as a messenger in one of the huge London sorting offices. They had daily uniform inspections and their supervisor demanded the highest standards. Any lad failing to work hard was guaranteed the DCM medal, Don’t Come Monday. He would be very depressed to see the abysmal standards, poor appearance, a dismal approach to addressing the public.

There are some very nice people in Royal Mail and there are some dislodged types too. Can always guarantee a reaction from them. Some don't like their jobs just like I never liked some that I did. What I did was leave and find something else to do that I preferred.
