Street Epistemology is a civil way to explore the quality of one’s reasoning.
Street Epistemology is also a movement that encourages our communities to engage in this exercise with each other and with ourselves.

This guy gets it, like, fully it seems/sounds like. This is the pinnacle of your series, to me. It reaches the limitations of our current language, and our systems for apprehension (epistemology, etc.) in an organic, and non-confrontational way. This was VERY enlightening for me, especially 11:31 , 11:45 , and 13:23 Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks for the thoughts. Is there anything I could have asked that you think I missed?

@@summersnake Not really, honestly, because Shep pretty much sums it up at 11:31 for me, at least. What works for him, works for him, there's really nothing "deeper" to "get at" in terms of attempting to understand "why do you believe" and "how do you know". I would assume that at some point, one realizes that everyone is ultimately on their OWN path. Perhaps, there is more than one "truth" contained within a larger objective "TRUTH". Again, our current language is limited when attempting to discuss these concepts. At the end of the day, you only "Know what YOU Know" and if it works for you, then that is YOUR Truth, which is a part of a larger "TRUTH" ostensibly. It does not apply to logic, because it is the LOGOS. It cannot be defined or empirically measured, because it precedes all of these "human concepts" and attempts to "grasp a handful of water" so to speak. "All we have is Metaphor" I think someone else said that before me...

11:36 "What I'm trying to get to, is, like, the methods that you use to figure out what's True" The answer, however unsatisfactory as it may be, is ultimately DIRECT. PERSONAL. EXPERIENCE. There is "unfortunately" no deeper level to dig at, and I'm not referring to naive realism, again, refer to 13:48
