@@reavers9852 tbf, the weapon is curently bugged. It's not like they're just nerfing it because they think it's too strong. The ammo reserves and div damgae were unintentional. The rest of the weapo is staying the same which is pretty good considering what they usually do to top tier weapons

Reserves mods won’t do nearly as much for it. The Div thing is a bug like how Thunderlord lightning strikes were double proccing back in Lightfall launch

Bungie let’s us have our fun while not letting them ruin the meta long term. Special weapons should not do heavy weapon level damage (euphony is maybe ok though bc you have to build into it like crazy idk)

Love how they acknowledged that it isn't supposed to be doing this much in damage output and will receive a tragic nerf...BUT god forbid that all of the other bugs and glitches (some of which date back all the way to FORSAKEN) are still in the game. Really shows where their priority is. If it's fun or benefits the player = top of the list; if its an inconvenience or annoying to the player = eh, we will get to it eventually, maybe...probably not.

You know they're not nerfing the weapon damage? They just fixed a bug where the weapon would scale 5x5 instead of just x5 its damage when you used divinity, That means you were doing 25 times more damage than you should have. Before you go around spewing plagues you should see the whole picture.

They could halve the reserves and it would still have enough ammo to one-phase every raid boss in the game. They one-phased every single raid boss in the game by spamming this thing with a well, a 30% debuff and 2 reserves mods, they didn't even use heavy weapons or many good damage supers... AND THEY STILL HAD AMMO TO SPARE. The only exceptions were Crota, which is just tanky af, and The Witness, mostly because of the travel time of the projectiles. Imagine this weapon with a full team of Star-eater Nova Warlocks using a decent damage rotation, bosses wouldn't even last HALF a phase! At least with less reserves you would have to choose between using it on adds or save it to nuke the boss, which probably wouldn't even happen if this thing counts as a primary for ammo and finder mods, just like Special Sidearms were.

That’s b/c destiny is dead n bungie knows it! So they introduce a gun trying to get ppl back to play the game n purchase the final shape. They know how many players don’t play their game anymore
