Solo Expert Encore "Datarunner" Triumph - Secret Portal, Timer & Softlock Bug Fix [Destiny 2]

As per my video yesterday, this mission can softlock for solo players in the second half. After the first boss fight, all of the enemies can bug out, and you cannot progress the mission. To fix this, you need to wipe during the first boss fight, where it's a darkness zone. I'd previously tried wiping after the boss, but as it wasn't a darkness zone, it made no difference. So this cannot be done as a "flawless", but I don't think there's even a triumph for that, so who cares I guess. Either way, it was a pretty annoying bug, and I wasted a lot of time doing it. Thanks to electriczone1's comment that suggested this fix.

If it's not a locked loadout why not equip' an eager edge sword? Skate too. They're 2 secret emblems, i assume ones flawless?

I noticed that at 3:45 you dunk the Connection buff into the first receptacle and then have to do it again later. It's slightly quicker if you ignore the first receptacle, jump straight down to the lower level and do that one first. You can then get the one off to the left on the way back up and when you dunk into the first receptacle (which you ignore the first time) you can hack the conflux on your way to the hurty-wall-chasing-you room. I see lots of people dunking that one twice when there's no need for it. Obviously YOU didn't need the extra time, but others might!

You can do a lot faster vertical movements using The Mountaintop as well. You can skip the elevators, and the entire room at 7:00 by launching yourself up as soon as you enter the room.

@@hereticnasom You can just jump on the tree, then to a little ledge on the left side as well. That's how I did it for about 5-6 times before finding the actual route

This Exotic Mission wasn’t really as big as I’d thought it’d be. But holy shit Bungie put so much in this thing. 7 secret chests, 3 Intrinsic Perks, 3 Catalysts, the little Vex dudes that you can collect, the 8 anomalies that give you lore and then unlock a secret timed run with a cool ass Emblem waiting for you as a reward.

On 2:20 y can jump from platmorm right up, when it going up - it boost your vertical speed and allow skip second lift platform. Working for titan jump, at least.

@@adrianpickel1482 I would not be opposed to a tooltip popping up each time you pick it up in that strike that can only be dismissed by passing the ball. Throwing it repeatedly would do nothing and if you break a shield without passing it then you have to have the tooltip on the entire rest of the strike.

When I did it in a group only one person went in and activated the timer. We all then got reset to the start and then the timer begun. So only one team member needs the whisper equipped to make it work.

Man I tried doing expert on Titan and got crushed by the boss on the left side. There's just no cover and the titan kit doesn't have enough survivability. Warlock is really strong here.

That’s what I’m saying. It’s already sickening that you preorder an annual edition, but you’re still time gated on more than half the things you’ve paid for. Waiting three months for something I already paid for is insane and I can’t grind out everything in one week and then focus back on my job smh. What makes it even sadder is the player base is ok with this method of content drip. Only free to play games should be allowed to time gate things. People complaining about Pete Parson’s lifestyle, but not realizing they are making him rich because they’ll consume anything. Even if it’s a crumb of recycled content. Look how people are going crazy over the Icebreaker that is a core reward for the NEW dungeon. Same thing they did with GHorn.

Its in warlord’s ruin dungeon random drop you need to buy dungeon key to access it

@@Cordam. That's actually the seasonal sidearm Aberrant action, not the warlord's ruin dungeon one, you can just go for the red border version of it from Failsafe and seasonal activities (edit: for the boss sidearm, the other one is the warlord's ruin sidearm yeah :D)
