I'm just a normal everyday lady who feeds friendly wild foxes and squirrels that come to my garden. Under no circumstances am I trying to tame them as pets or allow them into my home. I am also NOT a fox rescue service. They turn up of their own free will. Being urban, food isn't always easy to find, as not many areas for them to hunt, so I like to try and help them a little if I can. They are not totally reliant on me and haven't lost the ability to hunt for themselves. I will give them medication when needed for mange, infections, and pain, but that is under the close eye of the fox experts 🦊
ChipChip, Cookie, Jimmy, Pip, Daphne, Ringo, and Howie are the seven regulars that arrive most evenings. Basil hasnt been seen since the end of November, just as mating season started 😪 But I live in the hope that he'll return one day 🤞
Biscuit, was the first fox to befriend me back in 2021. Unfortunately she passed away Sept 1st 2023 and she is sadly missed by everyone who got to know her 😢❤️ I'd like to thank The Fox Angels Foundation and Second Chance Fox Rescue for all the help, support and advise with trying to help Biscuit. And the continued support they still give me. I can't thank you guys enough! 🦊🥰
Kenny and Norman, my two cats can be seen from time to time, plus there's Dave, the streetlight 🤣 Random cats, and not to forget the squirrels! ❤️ Plus, there's the badger! and sometimes a hedgehog!

@evelina787 Evelina!! Daisies are blooming in my garden now, and it is very common here in the San Diego area. If you ever get the chance to visit California, you would LOVE the flowers here!! I went to La Jolla Cove, a beach area North of my town, Lemon Grove, recently and the yellow and white daisies were in full bloom!! LOTS of seals and sea lions, sea gulls, some pelicans and squirrels. I hope I can participate in the LIVE event, but I do work on Sunday afternoon at a retail job. I am not on social media, but I send and receive letters on the Slowly app. I have pen pals in England, Germany, one in Australia. 🌎 It's wonderful to have these friends and they are all women who have similar interests as me, such as nature and animals. 💖

Thank goodness for lighter evenings. Hi jimmy. Yes den mum double coated furbabies are starting to blow (loose/shed) their winter coats and get their lighter summer coated. They can look straggley and messy. Until you give them a good brush. But as your babies are wild they are just going to look like they have been dragged through a hedge backwards untill they get rid of their winter coat. Which comes out in tuffts and clumps and makes the rest of them look like their is something wrong. But den mum is on top of any issues with them and will give meds as and when needed. These foxes are well taken care of. Especially compared to those that have to totally fend for themselves. Oh Jimmy he's know he has 3 bits of chicken. I'm guessing 1 each for the kids and 1 for the Mrs. Aww magoo is definitely a mummy's boy. Some form a strong bond with their parents and magoo is trying so hard to get a bond with you bless him. Oh den mum how can you stand it? I can't bare to see him craving your attention. I don't know how you do it. But I know you must for his own good in the long run. Or he will always look to people for food and affection and not everyone is kind hearted to foxes and he could get hurt or worse. I don't want food I want my mum. Hello Simon cutie. Oh there you go magoo a quick cuddle with mum. Happy now? Oh her we have double trouble lol. Den mum what's the age difference between them? Simon look a little older than magoo. He's a proper mummy's boy. Xx

Yes, as I won't have them for too long. They will then go back with the other foxes and cubs, before being released into the wild later in the summer ❤

Their mum was poisoned so they were taken to Second Chance Fox Rescue. I happened to visit the day after they were brought in and asked if I wanted to look after them for a few weeks. We'll you know me 😊❤

Deb..if I was fostering those cubs I would be packing them between playtime and meals in the dog back pack pouches you put them in front carry. Lol! They both would be a house pets. It would be hard to hand them back to be released in the wild.
