I'm just a normal everyday lady who feeds friendly wild foxes and squirrels that come to my garden. Under no circumstances am I trying to tame them as pets or allow them into my home. I am also NOT a fox rescue service. They turn up of their own free will. Being urban, food isn't always easy to find, as not many areas for them to hunt, so I like to try and help them a little if I can. They are not totally reliant on me and haven't lost the ability to hunt for themselves. I will give them medication when needed for mange, infections, and pain, but that is under the close eye of the fox experts 🦊
ChipChip, Cookie, Jimmy, Pip, Daphne, Ringo, and Howie are the seven regulars that arrive most evenings. Basil hasnt been seen since the end of November, just as mating season started 😪 But I live in the hope that he'll return one day 🤞
Biscuit, was the first fox to befriend me back in 2021. Unfortunately she passed away Sept 1st 2023 and she is sadly missed by everyone who got to know her 😢❤️ I'd like to thank The Fox Angels Foundation and Second Chance Fox Rescue for all the help, support and advise with trying to help Biscuit. And the continued support they still give me. I can't thank you guys enough! 🦊🥰
Kenny and Norman, my two cats can be seen from time to time, plus there's Dave, the streetlight 🤣 Random cats, and not to forget the squirrels! ❤️ Plus, there's the badger! and sometimes a hedgehog!

Morning den mum. Morning babies. Simon who are you trying to call that time of the morning? Your old enough to have a phone. Ask den mum. Only biscuit was old enough to have a phone. Even then she didn't make long distance calls, she didn't get that far. Right den mum lol. Oh Simon got the devil in him this morning and the zoomies. No wonder magoo is just looking at like what is up with you lol. Welcome home Carol. Simon is getting very talkative with you den mum it's very cute. Its lovely to see magoo doing so much better and playing. Its nice to see Daphne and chip back together without squabbles. And Daphne now fending for herself. I guess that was what she needed chip to tell her enough it's time to fend for yourself. Its not like she didn't know where to get food from. But just wanted mum to look after her. Hi Debs (sorry to disturb your tiny bit of rest and quiet) but I just had to say how much I'm enjoying seeing Simon and Magoo growing up At first I was slightly concerned that you were habituating wild animals to human contact, which would've left them at risk back in the wild, from hunts etc - but really, I should've known better! Of course Fox Rescue will habituate them to their wild life before letting them go. Thank you. You're amazing for taking so much time and effort to support the wildlife around you: You're an inspiration to so many more people than you even know

I know Debs be too busy to read comments whilst looking after the cubs..... I live in a close, not a house, and I'm tap dancer (the top) looking over the city with a fantastic view. Looking down to a part of forestry and we zde surrounded by some more in the scheme, also. Massive scheme. High up in the city. I look down to fox dens. I need to save up for binoculars 😮 However, I canny afford to feed them the way Debs does. Other people have told me i shouldn't feed them every night as it's cruel - they will stop hunting!?? Is that true !??? I wish they would come closer, i make a kind of clicking noise when i go to them bushes. Should i talk to them instead ?? To let them know it's me?? I wear the same bodyspray every time - incase thd mother every thought to attack 😮Incase she thought i was gon for her cubs...... So they recognise it's me with food. I've given them orange juice to drink - is that ok ? Milk 🍼 too ?? I give 💧 too sometimes. Eggs 🥚 the odd time. I've given cake before, not for a while though.?? Usually cheap cold meats from iceland. Sausages. Chicken 🐔 .....and on the bone, too sometimes - but rarely?? Bread ?? In the winter i left 2 tubs of custard and they wired in to that. Usually just meats, though. And stuff that's gon out of date. Leftover pastas and stuff?? Is this ok?? Prawn crackers ?? I've left them down about a handful of times?? Cheese that's going off?? Are all the aforementioned okay to give them?? I will look out for dog stuff if it's cheap enough and now i know they'll eat that. Leftover dinners from kids and stuff I've given too, like chips & that. I've noticed they're not too keen on salad stuffs 😅 But I'm worried incase I'm doing anything wrong. Most sources say almost anything is fine except cooked bones which can splinter and kill them. So cooked or raw meat and tinned pet food, cheese, raw egg in the shell, table scraps, bread soaked in fat, peanuts, fruit - ripe apples, pears, etc, and cooked vegetables, and jam sandwiches as an occasional treat. They suggest that what's harmful to dogs and cats is usually harmful to foxes too, e.g. chocolate, onions, garlic, amongst other things. Googling 'what to feed foxes', and also 'what not to feed foxes', will give more information.

They only drink water. No milk or orange juice. Try to stay away from too many cards, as its not good for them. They like cake. Chicken us fine bit no bones if cooked. Raw bones only as they don't splinter like cooked bones. Meats etc from Iceland is fine too 😊. They will eat most things a dog will eat. No garlic, onions, chocolate, raisins etc. But they can and some will eat fruit, raw carrot etc. Thank you for caring ❤

No, I know, but nowhere will take him in as he's managing perfectly fine with the other three legs. The trauma of being captured, etc, could kill him. So, they'll only intervene should he get any worse ❤
