.... WHAT?!?! I’m sorry but neither of these characters are interesting. Arthur (Morgan I assume) and his entire game are so boring I have barely even pushed myself to get anywhere, and by the time I FINALLY beat Witcher 3, I was so sick of hearing Geralt talk I half considered ripping my damn ears off. On top of that he’s totally uninteresting as a person and goes through almost no development whatsoever. You want a good protagonist, watch ReZero, read Worm, or play Steins Gate. THOSE are good protagonists. Layered, profound characters that go through real trials that challenge them physically, emotionally, and psychologically.

Come on, this moment wasnt so good: 1)player can easily predict the twist because ciri is a character all the plot based on, so it would be strange enough to kill her in the middle of the game; 2)Geralt hasnt even known her since he see her as a child, he hasnt gone with ciri through some adventures that we as audience can really understand ciri does matter something for geralt; 3)Death of ciri would solve the problem of the entire plot(no ciri-wild hunt goes away) so for me as if i was geralt it wouldnt be such a problem to sacrifice annoying character to avoid dangerous conflict

Cyberpunk is so criminally underrated. So much hate for the bugs, not even NEARLY enough love for how much a punch to the gut the story is. V's vain struggle against the inevitable, those who come and go, the constant reminders of mortality and what it means to truly be a good person, as well as asking overarching questions about what it means to even just be a human. Glad you added it, would love some more Cyberpunk edits, there's so many opportunities between hidden lines of dialogue, trailers, etc...

I think both he and the player knew then they were at a point of no return, but not because Geralt had turned into an unstoppable killing machine. @@juliangross3192 I got that ending on my first playthrough as well. To get the other two endings, you have to take different choices in some parts of the game. Namely, you meet with Emhyr to deliver him Ciri for the Empress ending, and you have to take the wrong choices when comforting Ciri to lower her confidence for the Bad Ending (which is probably the most cinematic and emotional). There are probably some KZbin videos detailing how to get them more specifically.

When I played the Witcher 3, I tried to delay finishing the game as slow as I possibly can when I realized how good it was after finishing family matters because it was the moment I realized how important the decisions I made were. When I finished the main story, I had the tragic ending and I really just stared blankly at the screen, recollecting my memories and moments that I spent with Vesemir and Ciri, which really hit hard when I was spawned back at Kaer Morhen. I quickly redid the last quest that could still give me a chance for a good ending and boy I was so happy I finally had it when Ciri became a witcher. Still not enough to get me through a post game depression, I played through Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. All I can say is that it helped me wrap the game up for me and now i have started to read the books and the play the older games. That last conversation you had with Regis also hit hard for me, he was like one of the best friends you can have. And that 4th wall break by Geralt? Breathtaking. I took a deep breath and finally thanked destiny for giving me the chance to play that game. The music, the story, I can't really put it into words properly.

For some reason the ending where Ciri leaves got to me even more than the bad one. Like, the latter is just a generic sad ending, yet if she leaves, it's such a rollercoaster of emotions. You get to play with her, and Geralt is ecstatic and filled to the brim with plans for their witcher life together, and then you see the nilfgaardians and suddenly realize that everything is already decided and you can't really change anything, it's like that breaking point most of us has got to experience with our friends parting ways with us, except that it obviously meant so much more for Geralt. Truly superb directing all the way around.

@@gameraj9536 ngl, RDR2 is straight up dog shit, glorified horse riding simulator. Such huge openworld and yet 95% of it is empty and there's nothing to do in it. Keep riding your horse from one boring mission to another and all the missions lead up to same old shootout. And there's also no music to make horse riding less boring. Side quests feels like a chore. Only Casual sheeps think RDR2 is a good game, it's an utter trash.

Goosebumps from start to finish... Maaan video games fueled me since 1996 and my first memorable game for it's story and especially it's ending was Metal Gear Solid. I had 10 years old, a bit young for that king of game, but it had me pumped up until the end, and when the outro video came up on screen, with the wonderful " The best is yet to come " song, my eyes got really wet, I couldn't see clear. I guess that's when I litteraly fell in love with this art.

it is difficult to choose between two games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and The witcher 3 so we can only say that we are facing two video games that will be difficult to repeat in the future, especially Geralt and Arthur are simply perfect.

Our favorite video game characters are like our friends and family IRL. We grew up with them and have fond memories. Some of them are always around and continue to bring us new adventures and fun times like Mario, Lara, or Leon. Others are only with us for a short time and tragically leave us too soon and we can only revisit them via memory banks (replaying games) like Joel and Arthur.
