I really enjoy your videos and watching your progress

Man I appreciate it! I know these aren’t professional high quality videos but I’m trying to be as real as possible about how it is out here!

It is very true, here at sprimo too. Came for quick oil change, hesitant about pulling in, n bam. Of course, trailer says has "abs problems, air leaks etc" luckily got it done asap. Welcome to the Prime fam. Even tho your on the dark side lol, kidding. All about the flatbed life here. Hope rest of your training goes well.

Lmao. I was honestly going to switch to flat bed but they didn’t have a trainer for me. So I decided just to finish out in reefer and if down the road I wanna switch, I will. I just didn’t want them to add more miles on to me. Lol.

@@EKMTransport yea training right now is hit n miss. Currently had a student but he got off truck to upgrade license. I'm from Texas, he from Chicago, makes it difficult to get things straight. Asked when to pick him up and he left it tba... No bueno

Btw thank you for the real talk

No problem! I figure there’s enough people out there who make everything seem like daisy’s and rainbows but the reality is there’s good and bad being out here and I want to showcase all of it, real time.

If you’re sitting still and as a trainee you’re guaranteed a weekly pay rate how does that affect your trainer? Do y’all get paid as a team? Sorry if this is out of line as discussing pay is personal
@EKMTransport Жыл бұрын
It’s completely fine! So, when it’s all said and done, he still normally makes money even if we’re sitting still for a day or so. I don’t know personally how it affects his pay but as long as you’re available for dispatch, you’ll continue to receive your 900 a week. Remember, that’s before taxes and insurance. So if you elect for all that, they take that too.

You get credit for your trainers miles towards your 50k tnt don't you?
@EKMTransport Жыл бұрын
So you get credit for all dispatched miles, doesn’t matter who’s driving. If the load is 1800 miles, you get the full 1800. Some people think it’s just what you drive, it’s not. ALL dispatched miles count towards the 50k. When i checked the other day, I was at 13,474 so it goes by fast.
