It’s like magic growing the red onion from the onion stump

Chop off the red onion stump from the onion. Plant it in a well manured planter and sprinkle some water. Soon some fibrous roots will appear and you will definitely enjoy the sprouting of the onion with its tender amazing leaves.

Thank you M! This was informative. I like the idea of placing them in a pot. I put two sprouting onions outside in the soil, but later I was not sure which were the onion plants, as some other weeds or sprouts grew near them. I think I also tried garlic.
