There is so much to discover on Earth. Animals, criminals, space, science… There is so much going on that we can’t comprehend. What criminals are thinking, what processes does a science branch go through, depth of the space our world is in, how do stars, the earth and everything that ever existed come to being? Were you ever curious about this stuff?
You can learn all of it by plain perspective documentaries, shining a light on criminal psychology, natural wonders and everything about life.
Documentaries which will bend your mind and make you feel small on this earth to achieve a different perspective.

There is an enormous problem of inadequate dialog volume throughout the television, film, streaming world. It’s turning out to be hard to understand as there are standards for professional content creators. By professional, I mean the very highest level of production: global film and music has long led the way in standards practice. KZbin producers could hardly be thought of in the same context. Still, the problem persists and it’s so easy to assume it is just bad taste at the production level. I make records and I have always been able to rely on tools that can slap me back into reality if my creativity lost the narrative. The fundamental truth is that no one on the planet does not listen to spoken word and I include lyric singing in that, so it will always be subjected to the most extreme critique. The tools are there to show us objectively, in case our subjective mind is losing focus, if speech is being swamped by other sound. They are not exact but they exist and can be relied on to improve the situation. I personally believe it is a matter of bad taste in the person mixing sound, so I hope to see the brutal criticism bear fruit. Never be shy about telling content producers your feelings on the subject.

The Phantom Corsair is a prototype automobile built in 1938. It is a six-passenger 2-door sedan that was designed by Rust Heinz of the H. J. Heinz family and Maurice Schwartz of the Bohman & Schwartz coachbuilding company in Pasadena, California. Rust Heinz planned to put the Phantom Corsair, which cost approximately $24,000 to produce in 1938 (equivalent to about $370,000 in 2010), into limited production at an estimated selling price of $12,500. However, Heinz's death in a car accident in July 1939 ended those plans, leaving the prototype Corsair as the only one ever built.

@nomoniker7917

Packard's downfall was largely the fault of US government corruption. The most favorable & profitable war contracts went to General Motors, Ford & Chrysler. People were paid off to make that happen. Packard had expended alot of money tooling up for expected production & it never happened. Packard was the best American manufacturer of them all, there was real precision in their work. GM was very envious of Packard for many years. Indian motorcycle suffered the same fate.

4:58 This chrome piece, at the front of the car, is commonly called a "bumper", not a "fender". A fender is used to cover the wheels, so that the wheels do not fling dirt, and mud around.

This is true, but "fender" originally came from the shipping industry where it means the protective, uh, bumper that runs along a vessel at dock level to prevent damage from running up against it (the dock). On tugboats they often would use old tires.
@henrikrolfsen584
@henrikrolfsen584 Жыл бұрын
@@hagerty1952 That is fine for boats. I am also sure, that airplanes have their own word for "Bumb-Protectors" . But, in the Automobile, and Carriage Industries, a "fender" is a sculptured part, attacked to the carriage, intended to fend off all the mud, and dust kicked up by the motion of the wheels. A "bumper", on the on the hand, is attached to both front and back of chassis, to absorb the energy encountered by the car bumping into another car, or other object. Is this understandable?

(No audio @ 17:08-17:33). That 1938 Phantom Corsair - what a beauty! Aerodynamics, wow! Just think what that young Rust Heinz could have gone on to do had not he made a bad decision while driving. He’d have helped shape post WWII design, like Martin Loewy, who became known as the father of American stream-lined design, but this car shows clearly that Rust Heinz should be considered Loewy’s predecessor.

Beautiful car! It’s really a shame that it didn’t make it to market and be the savior of Packard. At least two survived. I can’t imagine anyone destroying such a beautiful car and just seeing it as scrap. I also really liked the music they used in this. Some great jams.

Too bad about not being able to see well out of the car, but the way it looked, amazing even today, and at the time it must have looked like it was from outer-space. The bumpers are exceptionally beautiful, so stylish. Growing up in the 60s, we always had ordinary-looking cars until my father bought a used '61 Thunderbird when the 1964 Thunderbird had just come out, and wasn't especially good looking. Our Thunderbird drew a lot of attention, it was so good looking. But to have a custom/concept car, where everyone would ask, "What is that?" I think that would get tiresome.

@@nomoniker7917 No, knee. It was the projection from the lower part of the wrap around windscreen that could be hit by the knee getting in or out. The EK Holden had one of these windscreens and was famous for the knee problem. This was the primary factor in why these windscreens were unpopular, and quickly disappeared from subsequent car designs.

Actually the opposite, Packard was buying Studebaker and it was found they were in terrible shape, near bankrupt in fact. Studebaker went into the buyout with cooked books, and Packard ended up with all the losses. The mid 50s also saw a big recession and one car market suffering was the luxury segment, and I believe a decision was made to bring Studebaker up to more modern designs and let Packard go. Packard was already developing their own ohv V8 engines and automatic transmissions as well as new chassis designs and features, but with a tightening market the hope must have been in keeping a less costly line going and possibly in the future brining luxury back. Studebaker was in such bad shape even that wasn't possible.
