I personally think it's impressive to have qualified considering a new bike, and not training. back in the 80's while racing 125expert at Hangtown , the old track was filled with golf ball to baseball sized river rock. I had a rock roosted at me so hard it lodged in between the crossbar and handlebar, bent the bars and had to be pounded out with a hammer. I can only imagine what would have occurred if it hit me in the chest. I still have that rock somewhere, kept it as a trophy.

Doing work with what we have, great job Matt. You should be proud over the weekend, with the time you had on the bike and barely any gate-drops comming in.
