The 450 makes you faster on the 250. It's like back in the day, ride a couple of motorcycle on your 250 . Then pull out the 125 and let her rip . Lighter ,less power makes you feel like you can hold it open.

As much as we all love the 2T and the ripper it brings out of us, the 4T is a more capable MX bike. Putting your skills to work on the 450 makes you a faster racer. Now, if we were talking Enduro or, especially, Hard Enduro, it's a whole different world... one ruled by the 300 2T.

450. I think the 4t hook up better then the 2ts. However, 2t is so much more fun to ride. My vote would be race the 450 and play in the 2t. Love the vids Matty B! Your support group is awesome too. The three of you are just fun to see support and work together. Can’t wait for your next race!

Hey from OZ, that the best 2stroke 4stroke comparison ever . . . I shit you not. The difference between bikes was clearly seen if you know what your looking at. The 4stroke was evident that it's planted to the ground like a tree, changing direction mid corner isn't what it can do. When your in the line your staying there. Even off the jumps it's way different almost like the corner planted it's like watching Marc Marquez. The 2stroke rider input is higher but it's able to change direction anytime. Mick Doohan said it that 4strokes doesn't need the skill just need to be able to ride it. Anyway bikes are bikes as long as we're riding who gives. 👌👌🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲

this is coming from a guy who hasnt raced in 14 years,, only made it to 30A, just turned 55 and finally got the bike out first time in 5 years. my very very humble opinion is,,,,,,,the jumps are a moot point in the video,,,looked like you could charge harder into the corners on the 250,, but the roll speed from 1/2 to 3/4 thru the corners was faster on the 450. once again my humble take on it. nonetheless you are shredding it. keep up the content and stay safe my friend. cheers!

Great video Matty, as always. I can agree with most of the comments on this video. You're ripping on both bikes, but I do think it looked easier for you to go fast on the 450. As you know from previous comments from me on your other videos over the last few years, I have a YZ 250 smoker, and they are a blast to ride. But I do think the money is with the 450 100%. Keep doing what you're doing and stay safe.

Way back in 1999 during the first test of the YZ400F, all testers went faster and were less fatigued riding the 4 stroke when compared against a 250 2stroke. That has not changed. If anything, the gap has grown. James Stewart said it best: “If you get passed by a 250 2stroke and you’re on a 450 (4stroke), you need to quit”……end quote.

You’re ripping on both bikes but I’ve raced muddy creek quite a few times and it looks like the prep was good. If it was ripped deep then your 125 would be struggling. And they took out the massive step up and off camber turn before finish line. I think even with all that said you’re still faster on the 450 even though you’re shredding the 125

The 450 might go faster but the way you handle that two-stroke makes me think you’re faster on it. I have rode a 450 so I understand the difference in Power. But I’ve only wrote it once and I’ve only wrote it of 250 4 stroke once. You would need a lot more practice on the 450 because you haven’t been on it nearly as much as the two stroke. Plus the 450 is a little dangerous unless you had a lot experience on one. You’ve built your whole image around your two-stroke and you’re not really in it for championships so I would just keep it on the two strokes and keep all your fans more happier. I know you have fans that want to see you on the 450 but you just kind of think what’s best for you And how you feel on the bike compared to the two stroke. I like watching it no matter what decisions you make ,good luck.👍🇺🇸🤙💯☝️😎🙏💪☝️✊

I f i am being honest? i love the smokers always will!!! I have 2 now and will never quit riding them but Man you need time on that non smoker as much time as you have on the smoker!!1 Once you have put i will bet even half the time in on the 450 it will prove out that you are totally faster and better on it!! That smoker will always be there to jump on but In my opinion that 450 needs to be the go to, the smoker needs to be the entertainment!!!! But Opinions are like azzes everybody has one !!! Not trying to be one at all!! I think everyone who watches will watch smoke or no smoke!!!!
