Tip: For clearing buildings, I usually pickup SCAVs guns and use their ammo, unloading full mags to kill, rinse, repeat, and leave with my own ammo for players, entering other buildings

Also that was a Scav player. You can tell by their attire. PMCs will have military fatigues where Scavs have civilian dress, that guy in particular had a track suit on.

the issue I have with the tarkov health system/ammo system is that arms are a black hole for bullets, arms can eat like 2-3 bullets before the damage even starts to propagate to the kill zones. meaning that you have the potential for up to 6 center mass hits to just be sucked into the void in a close range fight. this is demonstrated well by your police station fight where both your arms and your leg get blacked by that guy meaning probably atleast 6 of hit bullets that hit you did litteraly nothing

I think a penetration model would be great. Depending on armor and round used, penetration of the arm could vary. I feel like a more detailed wound system would be good too- if shooting an arm was more meaningful, it wouldn't be so bad. Dropping your gun, more decreased accuracy than what is current, etc. Perhaps only lowering the wounded arm, allowing for one handed aim with heavy penalties to (arm) stamina, no ability to aim, heavy sway, etc. Lighter weapons should still have hefty penalties, but in regards to stamina and sway would function a bit better. Forced unequip if your main arm goes down. The problem is the current playerbase and their preferences, and devs wanting to make more sales.

They really hit the mark on this game! Better than Tabor and it just recently came out. 💯💯 Of course some issues with stuff like time to kill, but the immersion and weapons handling make up for that and more and I'm sure it'll get smoothened out in next updates.

This game is really addicting for me. Honestly am glad you're covering it because there are so many QOL features to this game that I wish other extraction shooters took. My only thing I need now is a streamer mode, a camera adjustment for better quality videos and modular weapons (barrels, stocks, recievers, etc.) That's really about it. Thanks for covering it!

I can't believe Meta has not come up with a way to record VR gameplay with some sort of motion stabilization used specifically for uploading gameplay to youtube. As a long time VR player I don't even see the shaking when watching VR content, but it makes such a negative impression on people unfamiliar with VR, they just instinctively think what they are seeing on the screen is how it looks in the headset, which is understandable, but def isn't helping VR become more mainstream.

People keep mentioning the gun shakiness. There's a setting called something like 'weapon smoothening' that makes the gun feel like it has more weight, also allowing for easier long range shots. It's totally personal preference, but I like 1 because it makes my gun less twitchy and it still allows me make those snap shots ADS that I make sometimes. I should mention I was on 4 before the Christmas update so the values might change again. Not sure if it's a gameplay issue now that you have a gun stock. Happy hunting!

The minimum about of ammo I take in is 6 mag with 6 loose piles of ammo, my standard is 8 mags with 9 loose stacks. Scavs love to eat ammo. A pistol helps decrease the cost because you can just use it to headshot the save.

How do you not get sick after a bit? I had an Valve Index and played tons of pistol whip no problem, but most other games made me sick. Tried a bunch of solutions. Eventually, i lost interest and sold the VI, but not before injurying my shoulder throwing a punch in VR 😂. Keep up the shooting content. I'm currently stretching the legs on my 5.56 16in AR. Last Sunday I landed a few hits @725y on a c zone steel.

Ha! Just depends on the headset and the game. A lot of games, including contractors, have good enough performance and frame rates that it doesn't really induce motion sickness. Unfortunately, some people seem to be more susceptible than others. I've never had any issues regardless of game/headset. Nice work on the 725 yarder. That's stretching the legs of 5.56 for sure!

Nothing at all! I love Ghosts of Tabor and they were the first to prove this format is possible. That game has been huge and CWS has a couple other projects on the horizon that look really promising. Cant help but to notice how shaky the gun gets even though your arms are not hit. Have you thought about building a DIY gun platform that you can use to stabilize yourself while gripping the controllers? This might give you an edge in combat. Like a frame built of PVC piping with a grip that you can hold on comfortably with the motion controller with a sling so you can drop it and pickup quickly. Should help you on those longshots. An old Wii zapper might do the trick.

I have a couple ProtubeVR Magtube Pros, and two or other VR stocks folks have sent me over the years. I was actually using the Magtube in this video as I mention just before the second raid. Works great. Very stable. The shakiness is just VR. It amplifies all micro movements. I've also completely turned off weapon smoothing. Makes it look more shaky but gives me raw input which helps me aim imo.

This game would be AWESOME if it weren’t for the frequent crashes that take ALL your gear and you’ll never get it back!! You assemble your loadout in the bunker…try to load as a PMC… counts down from 10 and while loading into the map the game crashes and when you restart the game and your computer, everything is gone!!! This has happened to me 7 freaking times now

@@ControlledPairsGaming exfil and tabor are both buggy messes not even worth playing. The guns are way too floaty and not fun to use in exfil and tabor has game breaking bugs. To this day I can't load into a match with my main weapon not bugging out and attachements or magazines disappearing. Both games need to cook more. Not worth the time, people just don't have the games so don't know better and like watching streamers that get special treatment from the devs play because it helps sell copies of the products.
