You are SO right about the gospel being pro life. As I listened to your homilies this past week and reflected on these scriptures myself this is exactly what came to my mind!! God is pro life. Amazing homily. Does not proclaiming to be prolife predispose us to actually be that which we proclaim. Failure to do so may indicate to others a inconsistency in our convictions which could compromise a far greater message being pro Jesus. God Bless and Merry Christmas.

In St. Brendan's Church of the Bronx, NY, there is a new pastor named Fr. Silva. Ever since he became pastor, a brief prayer for end to abortion was the only thing that I heard from one of the daily masses. There is no more respect life day to go to Washington to do a march. In some ways the Catholic church is becoming like other religions. Many religions say that abortion is wrong and act is making a law supporting it is nothing. There are many ascetics who pray to God and pay little or no attention to human suffering.
