Great in-depth review / playthrough. Not the first video I've seen with it run through V30s, and I have to say I enjoy how it sounds, especially since that's how I am going to be running mine. The tones through those speakers appeal to me. Good job with this one.

Great demo, brother. Thanks. Only thing it lacked, imho, was playing it through Greenback Speakers, which is the best speakers to play a Plexi or Modded Plexi Style Amp through. The Greenbacks really make these amps shine the best. I'm very familiar with Friedman Amps. I own a BE-50 Deluxe, a Twin Sister, and a Jake E. Lee 20 watt amohead. The only other Amp Maker I would say is up there with Friedman Amps, quality wise, imho, is Metropoulos Amps, made by George Metropoulos, a very close and personal friend of Dave's from Michigan. In fact, Metropoulos is so good, that Dave uses the Metropoulos Effects Loop on all of his amps. Years ago, Dave and George made a Metro Friedman Amp, which is almost impossible to get your hands on. I bought a Metropoulos DVL-1 modded plexi Amp, about 2 years ago. George made it for William Duvall of Alice and Chains. Amp sounds killer, although it is no longer made. It has every tonal option on it, that a guitar player could possibly want. George Metropoulos is known for his Metroplex Amphead. His newest Amp, these days that he's selling, is the Metroplex Version 2 Amp, which is another amazing Amp, although the Metroplex 2 doesn't have anywhere close to the tonal options that my DVL-1 Metropoulos Amp. It's truly a gem. I don't know if you're familiar with Metropoulos Amps or not, but if you aren't, they're definitely worth your time demoing them and researching them. George's DVL-1 amphead is still available to buy on the used market. Check it out brother. I guarantee you, it won't disappoint you. Metropoulos Amps have the same price point as Friedman in their high quality 100 watt ampheads. Sorry for the book length comment. Just had alot to tell you about Metropoulos Amps . Thanks for the compliment my friend! I do wish we had some GB's to play through, get that proper old school tone out of it. Maybe next time I pull a cab out I'll do it just for fun! I'll need to check out Metropoulos too! The DVL-1 looks so cool, hope you are having fun with it! If I ever see one in the wild then I'd love a go. Thanks again for the comment man :)

They did not make JTM45's in 1968. This was based on his JMP lead 50. It's a far cry from a JTM45.
