“One dream, one soul...one prize, one goal,” - the apt opening lyrics of Queen’s ‘A Kind of Magic’ and today in Barcelona it was NYYC American Magic that unveiled their third AC75 boat but keeping much mystery and intrigue to themselves. And rightly so, the boat is a beauty - a sculpted form whose almost scow-bow detailing would not look out of place at New York’s Guggenheim Museum setting off a super-powerful hull form with detailing aplenty.

@@jasonpickens9839 Henious is a tad harsh, but I don't love it, either. I really think it makes it look "ass heavy";). I do kinda like how smooth the deck shapes look. Not super out there, more "classic", dialed down. But the paint job, in my humble eyes, is doing it a disservice.

Not possible. The positions of the foil arms are specified in the rule, and they dictate the beam.

Well what can I say, I don't like the livery it looks like something in 70's style. I was expecting a white Ac40 style choice with red stripes. The boat looks like a cocktail, at the stern is ENZ, at the bow is LR and the pods are from Ineos, but we'll see.

Initial impressions? I don't love the paint. The 90s look seems dated and a little weak considering the blistering edge of tech, but no judgments until we see Magic on the foils. Her aerodynamics and forward pitch look fast. Almost scow-bow!! I love that reference. So exciting!! More!!
