It’s implied by the end of the episode, that it was richie who called the cops This episode is basically the realization of richie that the old ways are his and Mikey’s ways, and those ways just didn’t work. He thought it worked, thats the whole “delicate ecosystem” dialogue, but in the end, being like that ended in michael committing suicide. Richie has to change, he has to overcome the old ways he clings on so much.

I like how they foreshadow Richie’s breakdown at the end of the episode during the flashback with Mikey - it starts out with Mike cooking and telling the Bill Murray story and eventually he and Richie get so wrapped up in telling it that they completely forget about prepping the food, while Carmy steps in and finishes the work that needs to be done, as he’s always focused on the food above everything

Yes, JAW and Aye did some training. JAW said he was going to brush up before filming S3. Last Train Home was the perfect ending song. I think Richie called the cops. That scene with Mikey felt so real.

Richie promised those guys he wasn't gonna call the cops on them, but when they made a deal with Sydney instead of him he was hurt by it and did anyway. He's a real jerk sometimes but still loveable somehow lol

It's funny, while editing, as soon as I heard him say that line about not calling the cops, I was like damn he called the cops!! haha - John
