John, I just wanted to tell you this has nothing to do with this message but I heard a different message where you spoke about Grace, you said only about 2% of people knew what that was and how it is the empowerment of God to do things and do them His way. I was in tears bc I had never heard that about His grace and I have been a Christian for 15 years but God has revealed to me this Amazing Grace I can feel it when I ask and how I respond is not how I normally would. I'm so thankful God led me to you and your wife Lisa, you are both so led by the Holy Spirit and teach with such care, thank you for delivering that message bc I am like the Christian I was always meant to be..God opened me up to reading His word like never before and I'm hitting the ground running. We've got a lot to take back from the enemy. I'm so happy to be in God's army along with such wonderful inspiring Spirit led teachers. Thank you for pursuing God's call on your life bc you're helping MANY!!!! God bless & keep you and yours.

Great lesson! We randomly played this and it turned out to be exactly what we needed to hear. I remember Brother Sumrall. He was an anointed and powerful man of God who knew his purpose and worked hard to fulfil it. It was an excellent analogy that I, personally needed to hear. My husband and I enjoy your teaching and this series will absolutely be another that we will enjoy and recommend to others. May God continue to bless you as you fulfil your purpose daily. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us. 💞🙏✝️

I was reminded of this quote while watching this video: “The most amazing thing in all of creation is that a human being can be created in the womb of a woman. Nothing men can do compares to this. Yet, women have given up the greatest thing in the world for the man’s curse from the Fall and call it their ‘dream’. How twisted is this.” -The Transformed Wife

It reminds me of the parable of talons in the bible. The one that had no faith to invest lost what little he had.

I have always loved talking about the Bible and studying the Bible but I am waiting for God to open the door of what I am supposed to do, the will of God. Just like that navy seal was a military officer but I waiting and praying for what I am to do??????

What if you feel like all you knew was a falsehood from shotty church experiences? How do you help someone navigate the wheat from the tares of one's calling?

This sounds good John, but it all sounds a bit out of reach. I turned 40 last year. I don't have time to work on any gifts because i am so busy and tired doing what needs to be done. I resonate with the lack of energy comment, but I have been praying about calling for years and years. It's like chasing the wind. I don't enjoy what i do, but i can't just drop it to chase something else. Too many responsibilities. I wish had the energy you speak of. I am sure you are right, but it seems out of reach to normal people like me. 🙂

Faith calls those things that be not as though they were. Romans 4:17 KJV

Do you know your gifts? I'm a bit older and am just finding mine. It's just me - I have kids, but not with me- so I have all the responsibilities plus tons of travel to go spend time with my kiddos. But it started with prayer and just my regular, consistent bible study. Here's the kicker for me - the more important I made making sure I was following the calling and gifting in my life, the more time I had for it. THEN God blessed in other areas as I walked in obedience. I hope this encourages you.
