At that point Sonny willingly left Carly for Nina. Joss and Dex ran into each other a couple of times and were in traumatic situations. After making out a couple of times, Joss and Dex finally had sex after Joss was attacked by the Hook serial killer. Dex showed up in time to shoot the assailant and save Joss and Britt (who unfortunately died due to the poisonous snake venom on the hook). Joss then proceeded to break up with Cam, not letting him know about Dex or the fact that she slept with Dex while she and Cam were still together in a relationship.

Oh, Spencer is going to drag Josslyn for filth when both truths get out: cheating on Cameron before they were officially broken up and leaving Britt to deal with the fallout of Heather's hook attack on her life. All of Spencer's mistakes and bad choices showed him who can truly count on and Cam has stood by him from the moment he confessed to being Ava's stalker to his stint in Pentonville. He realizes what he has in Cam. Joss has never appreciated him half as much and Trina even called her on it when she told Joss she wasn't half the friend to Cam as he was to her and I believe Esme was right about one thing she went after Cameron because she was afraid he'd pick Trina over her. She never seemed as invested in the relationship as Cam. And why should Joss mind if Spencer sides with Cam? She has done everything she could to steer Trina away from Spencer but she wants equal loyalty from him? I don't think Joss knows the true meaning of the word friendship and look at her examples. Carly steamrolled over Jason's life for years and years and made her and her children his first priority while other men parented his sons. And Bobbie might own Kelly's but Cameron is doing all the work. They wouldn't know what to do if he quit.
