I will like to think that all historical documentaries of the great Benin Kingdom history especially as it relate to the Benin Monarch's structure/formations as well as functionalities, should be mandatorily vetted & confirmed by a special traditional standing committee in the palace before its publication. It has to be properly cleaned up to avoid misleading and contradictory history as we may have observed in the reference the Oba has just made in his speech. "Oba gha topkere! Ise"!! We do not want to see a distorted history of our most revered kingdom of Benin. It shd be a single story & not multiple. Domon Umogun, gha gbe ghagolo, Osa ya werue! May yr reign be a blessing to our kingdom, Edo state & Nigeria!
