I have a lot of red blotches on my face so I use the color Bone to “conceal” them and then use “Dune” basically as you do Wayne over my face and blend out. I am 61, oily/combo skin I do use a fairly heavy moisturizer 10 min before I put on the Merit stick color at 5am, I get home at 4:30 and it still looks very good. Very little creasing, and I wear a mask all day since I work in a hospital (flu season) it stays on remarkably well

I had been wanting to switch up my makeup routine lately because I’m in my early 40s and noticed that my skin can’t really handle a face full of foundation and concealer like it used to. It feels dry and heavy and settles into my fine lines. I saw your Merit videos and thought it might work for me, so when my family was asking what I wanted for Christmas I said the Complexion Set. I’m super impressed and happy with the products, especially the Minimalist stick. I used the shade matching on the website and found a shade that matches my skin so well (most that I try are too orange-y for me) and it blends in amazingly! I traveled internationally for the holidays and brought this as my foundation. I don’t have facial hair lol so I used a couple extra swipes but I definitely get smooth med coverage with this. I used a literal dot of Kulfi concealer on my under eyes instead of the merit stick and that was my base makeup totally done. I’ve used a brush, a sponge, and my fingers - all worked well for me. It’s now in my purse for foundation touch ups after reapplying SPF.

I just bought that stick in the summer and stop wearing it. My daughter told me about it because she actually uses it like you do. I was just using it as a concealer but maybe, thinking about it, I may have been applying too much. After seeing this, I will give it a second chance. Just received and used for the first time today. Absolutely beautiful, natural looking coverage that has lasted for several hours. Color match was perfect with no weird oxidation after application. I'll keep this in mind when my current foundation runs out! Unrelated, but all these years later, the two videos of yours that have stuck with me the most are the nose contour video about highlight placement, and the video about blending (and blending and blending) powder foundation! I'm not very skilled and only wear makeup a handful of times a year, but I do still want to look fairly natural and, ya know, not look like a disaster when I DO wear it, and those tips are the ones with the biggest impression on me. Omg, preach! I got 2 colors, and I do single layer of both - lighter on the center of the face, and the darker to contour. The formulation is great, warms up and wears well throughout the day, looks beautiful in pictures 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. I was able to find my colors, wish they had more.
