Ever since I found the new laser projector was released, I figure I check this one again to see if their HDR had improved their contrast. I have to say that it did improve slightly. I used to have to do so much adjusting to make it look good, now just a increase in contrast from 50 to 70 makes the HDR so much better.

At this point with having two OLEDS, the next step for me and my wife would be to just invest in a nice Short Throw Laser Projector. Just waiting for brands like LG to come down to the $2000 range or anybody really. It has to be more worth it than buying a 75-85 inch and above tv. For less money or at the very least the same.

By the time they get there TVs in the 100" sizes will start to come down. Maybe even at a faster rate due to economies of scale

Not to mention screen cost and install challenges. A PJ only makes sense as moveable tv alternative or in a dedicated room at 120 or more.

I like this product. But it's unusable. They give you a power cable...plug goes into the wall, other end of it goes into a brick (transformer). then a cable permanently attached to the other side of the brick plugs into the projector. That cable section is about 3 or 6 feet long. But they sell you a ceiling mount....meaning you're going to have the cable plugged into the projector and six feet later you have this dangling brick. ***THERE IS NO EXTENSION CABLE*** that goes all the way to the floor. This is why their catalog pictures never show anything plugged into the unit. It looks utterly wire-free in the ads!! I asked for assistance finding an extension cable and then insisted on escalating my call to Engineering. Some appeasement-engineer, who I expect to be top-notch based on Anker quality, spends 5 days researching and then tells me there is no appropriate extension cable made anywhere.

I'm not sure I understand the issue. Just coil up the brick up near the mounted projector and buy a standard extension cable. Problem solved. This is used for projectors costing thousands more than this one and works perfectly fine.
