I wanted my life to change so bad too... then I realized my life was fine. I wanted to change because that's what society is selling: "BE BETTER, YOU'RE NOT ENOUGH". I stopped listening to them, and now I'm much happier. I don't have a yacht and a Ferarri.... but you can't miss what you don't have. You are enough just the way you are. Sometimes..... not always.... but SOMETIMES you're NOT the problem, even when everyone says you are.

I thought the meds were part of a healthy lifestyle change as I was told from a young age that I had a specific "mental illness" that I'd been leaving untreated. We have to educate and empower people to see through these lies.

I am a sixty seven year old male living in Missouri. After being prescribed 2 mg's of Klonopin nightly for fifteen years. I finally weaned off it around 2016. It took me almost two and a half years of literal hell to heal. I healed overnight, after having surged terribly for the last month and a half. Ever since then I have been helping others navigate protracted Benzo withdrawal now for over five years now. I have talked to over a couple of thousand people in this time from all over the world that are suffering terribly. P.S. I am not selling any service, as I do not take any money at all for helping people. It was just so very hard for me to get through, so I decided to do what I could to help others. Neighbor Bob

I wanted my life to change so bad after years of bullying in school. But instead of helping me to change my circumstances they destroyed my health with psychiatric drugs. I only got severe side effects, some are long term negative effects. Safe to say they ruined my health, finances, ability to work and so on. Preying on the vulnerable, like teens is what they are able to do

I also wanted to change my life but was already weird from cortisone given for clogged ears. I went to therapy and took off work but they out me on clonazepam on top of that. I said no addictive or habit forming meds.

Does a anyone know if its okay to taper off an SSRI that they changed to sh*t generic brand and now having s'e's from and want off while I taper Benzo's at the same time ?? Or should I stop the Benzo taper and try and get off the SSRI on its own first then resume Benzo taper ? TY

Human chemistry is impossibly complex. Prescriptions are a bad choice to simplify it.
