It's literally written in the prospect of all the benzos they gave me for years that they don't cure anxiety and that you shouldn't take those drugs for more than a week.

Although not a long-term solution, if one is acutely suicidal, why would hospitals not utilize Ketamine (considering the immediate results it often brings) vs. the provision of an "antidepressant ", which takes 4-6 weeks to "work"? The entirety of the Psychiatric System is simply foul.

I can't tell you how this breaks my heart, to see the damage done by our "medical" system and the drug companies. We are expendable, all hail the mighty dollar. And zero accountability. The callousness of the dr on the hidden camera made me furious, and the "taper" the Bri was put on was WAY too fast and I wonder if he knew it, offering her a different drug if things didn't go well. :(

This isn’t news the government and media and special guilds live in denial or their own special interests $ he could have just focused on corruption in the medical system. But he’s being historically accurate and he’ to educate on the public misconceptions and conventional wisdom. Learn,Unlearn,Relearn.

I was given antipsychotics because, apparently, to some doctors, children asking for help for the abuse their parents are subjected them to means that they are making it up and are not seeing reality as it is. How f*cked up is that? Does the doctor have a magic ball? Can they know what it's like to be in your house when they have never been there? Oh, should I point out that the psych and my gaslighty abusive parents were friends? The good old "I ask his friends and they said he didn't do it, so you are lying".

Gag me! "Since ppl suffer, suffering is part of being human. Don't take medicine, just suffer!" You are the one sounding like the psychopath here. For example, Clonazapam is not bad for someone with constant adrenalin, constant spiraling thoughts that won't stop when you want them to stop. Sleeping is only possible with temazapam which is another psychotic. If you feel lazy when you take them then you don't need it. Don't blame the medicine for being taken unnecessarily. Don't ruin it for those of us who need them to slow down to your speed. If you don't want them, don't take them. If you don't want a gay marriage and you are a man, don't marry another man. But don't ban it for gay ppl like us. It's the same thing. Just mind your own and stop taking them if you want. I am a different person than you. I will gladly take them and feel better because medical technology is part of being human. 🤘🤩

God put everything on this earth that you need: Sunshine, Freshwater, natural food, and many plant-based solutions. For health issues, there are natural vitamins and supplements if needed. To beat depression, exercise take vitamin D with K and a probiotic! If you want to beat anxiety add Ashwaganda. For those who can’t sleep you have chamomile, valerian, passion flower and melatonin. For pain you take turmeric, magnesium and perhaps aspirin. There are foods for high blood pressure foods, for lowering cholesterol. Rarely does someone need to be on medication!

And - coming from a non-professional/lay person - why would we NOT think this would be harmful!! I was actually thinking of suggesting to my husband that he check this out for himself! (And I'm a person who doesn't even trust vaccines!) I guess we just get desperately seeking solutions. He is 78, has always had anxiety/panic attacks and now has tremors. His brothers also have depression/anxiety/panic attacks. One of them has had ECT treatments in the last couple years. What you are doing in researching and making it and your experience public is so important. Thank you. p.s. Also think back - there was a time when "medical professionals" would BLEED people!! 🥴

maybe check out this book: Dr. Georgia Ede "Change Your Diet, Change Your Mind" - sometimes its not that we need another 'treatment' or 'external thing' - but we need to look at what we're eating or putting in our bodies and, instead of adding things, take things away! Good luck to your husband.

Advice i have been a Work Cover Client for 20 years i suffered a Workplace Mental Illness Injury. I have been rejected denied mental health treatment admission for psychiatric hospital care. My illness is Chronic Depression Anxiety Adjustment Disorder Suicidal Tendencies Vomiting Episodes. Every time I need admission for mental care I have had to wait days for approvals and then admission. This has been a very long abusive treatment. Administration staff are making medical decisions and reporting reason for denial. Totally unacceptable reasons but part of there corruption. How can I get treatment from them from a doctor to stop this abuse. I am broken down completely I have been in flight fight mode for 2 weeks now and I am scared . Thank you

I spent my entire life with my mom, who exhibited psychotic behavior, including extreme mood swings, neglecting personal hygiene, and isolation. This went on for years, during which she couldn't take care of her husband, children, or family. Antipsychotic medication, specifically risperidone, was a savior for us. It saved her as well, and she now lives a very normal, beautiful life. My sisters and I now live safe and happy lives because we realized that some human behaviors can't be changed but can be suppressed through medication.

I was medicated with aripiprazole and then risperidone and promethazine to try and help me deal with long-standing homophobia from my neighbours when the police ignored their behaviour and involved the mental health team. Yes the police were homophobes too! I am now going through weaning off a 2year hell which was instigated by these meds and professionals that were supposed to help! I think the homophobes, police and doctors should try a course of these damaging meds!
