To an extent I agree, but as an amateur racing in a supermoto club full of folks that grew up doing motocross, it definitely wouldnt hurt to have something a little more potent than my DRZ! Tho I do love this bike.

for racing sure, riders are going to be a lot more even and fast and at that point bike is going to start to matter!

Give a couple of years riding SM every weekend to the other guys & gals and it will be a bit harder to pass them 😅

I got so jealous of you guys being able to ride dirt in the afternoon on Sunday, is there any leeway for an "open practice" rider sneaking into the post-lessons open laps you guys do?

Any time the dirt is open, you just have to ask the track to add a public/open dirt sesh. They will usually add one, as long as it doesn't infringe upon the karter's track time, karts always get priority.

Sunday was nuts because of the amount of sessions. For the forseable future we will be there only on bike only days. and yes please add a "advanced dirt" session. It's not problem in the afternoon on bike only days!
