God the capo makes this song SO MUCH EASIER! Also a little tip for people having trouble hitting the A string on the 4th chord, just use the D string. The capo makes it the same note that youd normally play ;)

I don’t get it. Playing the chords makes my finger hurt so much because I have to press down as hard as humanly possible so it will actually play

I 100% get that, in the time since posting this tutorial I've been fairly out of practice with my guitar and it really hurts my hands to play songs that used to be not so bad. The best advice I can give is to just keep practicing and giving your hand time to work out the muscles used to play! It could also be the way that you're holding or pressing down on strings, so it might be beneficial to ask someone in your real life to look at how you play to make sure you aren't holding anything in a way that would make playing more difficult :)

how do u use a capo one one string?

the capo changes the tuning of all the strings but because i never play any open strings in this song it doesnt affect how the other strings sound so i just used it to make that top string easier to play
