This means more to me than I think you know. I can't stress enough how important it is to validate everyone's feelings while also holding people accountable. had difficulties with that myself lately and this helped, thank you

A wise man once said that Life almost never starts fair, but it very often ends fair, and at the end of the day It's all about cleaning up your little corner of the world. Thank you for sharing your story Zyly

How can a mother be like that, i cannot comprehend that. That must have been for you in some way a living hell. Punishment has long lasting, negative effects on the psyche and if its physical even on the body. Still outstanding , that you were able to pull through and got a better life after that. Well done

What a story... It really goes to show just how strong and resilient you are, and it's such a strong inspiration for me and, I bet, for many many others. Years and years of therapy are definitely scary for more than one reason, and it's probably what I'm gonna be facing for a while too, but hearing it from you with your own experience and perspective kinda makes me a little bit more optimistic about it. If it really does help no matter how long it takes, if it really helps in getting yourself out of the prison that is your own brain sometimes, then it's absolutely worth it. Thank you for sharing this Zyly, you've given me great courage and hope

I too have had my rough shares of discipline, so I feel ya there. Although I get into most trouble because of my so called friends often lie and frame me back when I was a kid and due to my inability to speak out, they got away with it which sucked.

Es tut mir so leid zu hören, dass du körperlich bestraft wurdest, als du jünger warst! Das kann mit viel Trauma einhergehen.

I understand. My parents are s*ic*d3l towards us if we cross their line (which is very hard to cross) and when we did cross that line, we got punished bad. But they didn't mean to be that way when we crossed their line, they were trying....

I hate talking to people I have trust issues because people like to screw around with you for fun now. This is a lot of crap from a 17-year-old, but who cares anyway

It's okay to feel that way tbh, you need to allow yourself time to heal ❤️
