I am coding for 40hours per week and I have feeling I work too much cause I dont have a job yet. The more often I took breaks the more the learning gets faster and more efficent. But on the flip side I have feeling I am not working hard enough

Struggling with exactly this as well man. It never feels like you're doing enough.

Dont do that, thats a good way to get you burned out there is a good video of Stefan Mischook

@@Anime_Empire_2.0 Gonna try this, struggling to keep going, especially because of the recent tech layoffs. Feels kinda hopeless to be honest. Like it will be impossible to get my 1st job, but yeah, will keep going.

I struggled with this too. I don’t have a job and i’m studying hard to where I’m qualified enough to get hired. I burnt out and couldn’t learn for about 4 months due to lack of motivation and lack of discipline mixed with frustration. Now that I’m taking breaks I’ve been consistently learning for 6 months. I try not to be hard on myself since i’m unemployed and that’s pretty much the hardest part; trusting the process and staying committed to a routine. We all have the ability to learn. It’s more important how we go about doing it 👍 I’m hoping to get hired by late january - early february as a react dev

That’s why it’s important to also live below your means, save, invest, and create/maintain connections

Chris I haven’t seen anyone say it but I’m damn proud of your weight loss journey bro! You look great and I can see you’re putting in work

This is just true in life. Once I realised that no one gives a fuck about me except my family members, I started to move very differently. People will use you and throw you away without giving a solitary fuck. Watch your backs on these streets gents. Have contingencies in place, always.

It’s difficult to me to stop learning when I start. Actually I got more efficient when I learn and immediately work on it on a concrete project ! Though thanks for this video

I just started my coding journey last night with HTML. I am having to do free courses on Codeacademy since I’m tight on money but interested in doing a full bootcamp. Your videos are very helpful!!!!

What do you think of OpenAI's ChatGPT advancements? Are knowledge jobs really going to be made obsolete in a few years?
@dariapow Жыл бұрын
My exact thoughts. .. But as my lecturer explained we should not be afraid but aim to maybe become a developers in AI in the future plus I think it will all aim into learning AI anyway.

Hey Chris what's your thoughts on Chat GPT? Will it replace all aspiring developers? 😨 (Actually experienced developers will be benefited)
@camn-bv3vq Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you are right. Now Juniors are treatened by chatGPT
@KILLCHRISU Жыл бұрын
ChatGPT isn’t going to take developers jobs. It’s optimized for dialogue not production which means at best it’s a great tool for developers to use. You have to actually understand how ChatGPT works in order to gauge whether it’s a threat or not. In this case, it isn’t. And that’s just one of many reasons why ChatGPT won’t take over. There are plenty videos covering this topic already, but I’d love to hear Chris’s assessment 🙌
@Anime_Empire_2.0 Жыл бұрын
I don't Think Chat GPT is gonna replace all developers entirely BUT its gonna make the hole deeper for those new Junior Devs to land their first job, it's already a really hard time to land a first developer job as it is.

your boss watches these videos, i know that, so if you mentioning you make more money with your side hustle than your job, imagine how he will feel, so just be a bit mindful of what you say since you put your youtube out there even on your linkedin profile, probably all your coworkers watch your videos also

They know I make more money and they know I only work that their company because I enjoy what I do. 😅 Thanks for the concern though!
