Thanks for this review, this is probably the only place where I could find a good look at the build of this display. Ended up getting the R05 OLED with stylus and I am over the moon with it, absolutely worth every cent. Coming back to the video I see the QLED version seems to have incredible colors as well, which makes yours even more of a steal at half the price. cheers!

Thank you so much for your kind and detailed feedback! The RO5 is a great choice, too. I'm glad you liked it.

Absolutely great and much needed review. I opted for the 13.3 inch OLED and hoping to pair it with my mac mini .

Its QLED, yes.

@@RandomTeq Thank you for your response. I have another question, could you confirm that the monitor is indeed in 16:10 format (in your review at 5:53, we see the resolution 1920x1080 displayed, which corresponds to 16:9) and if the 15.6-inch size corresponds to the specifications stated in the technical sheet?
@RandomTeqАй бұрын
The exact dimensions are (bezels not included, only display area): 33.5x21cm or 13x8.3 inches (width x height) Diagonally: 40cm or 15.5 inches That makes it a 16:9 As for the 1920x1080p, that's a Samsung Dex limitation. It can't go beyond 1080p in resolution. Hope this helps.

Does it have 120hz frequancy on 2k mode? Does the monitor produce a clear image at 2k or is it a bit blurry? Is 1000g a real weight? Thank youfor review!
@RandomTeq4 ай бұрын
No, it's capped at 60z, even if the resolution is reduced, like when you connect to a Samsung Dex mode. I wasn't able to produce a 2k image, but with Samsung Dex, you can do 1080p@60z, and the image was clear and crisp. The weight with a stylus is 1034g and 1020g without. They do sell a QLED 2k 144hz gaming monitor on their AliExpress store. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DndHeyP

The only thing holding me back is no VESA compatible 😩

There's an ipad holder from Neewer that holds it very well. Watch my video about the AULA F75 keyboard, and you will see what I'm talking about.

Hi, Thanks for the review. Do you know if the stylus buttons are programmable? If there's a driver or a way in Windows to map the buttons to the stylus? I'm using them right now but it limits the functionality when I can't map functions to the top two buttons. Thank you!
@RandomTeq2 ай бұрын
Here's the answer I got from ehomewei: Yes, the stylus button can be programmed in Windows. Both touch and stylus styles support ten-point touch, making it versatile for various applications.

@@RandomTeq Hi, thanks for the prompt response! I'm still not sure exactly how to go about being programmable, since the stylus doesn't register as a pen in windows. would you have the link to their response please? Thank you
@RandomTeq2 ай бұрын
Pleasure! I think they misunderstood the question, I rephrased it and got the following: Hello! Unfortunately, the stylus button on the EHOMEWEI Portable Monitor is not designed to be programmable for Windows. It does not register as a pen in Windows, and there is no specific program available to enable this functionality.

Does the display works with 3rd party stylus? Thanks

Yes, I tested it with a 3rd party pen, and it worked.

Is there any preasure sensitive in stylus?
@RandomTeq4 ай бұрын
I went and tested it, and it does indeed have some form of pressure sensitivity. The pen head has a click on its tip. This tech is advertised on the more expensive OLED version, but it's advertised on this version, but they seem to use the same hardware for the pen.

@@RandomTeq Is there palm rejection as well?
@RandomTeq4 ай бұрын
Yes, I just tested it. It performed well. When you place your entire hand, it rejects the input or just registers your fingertips. Tried with the bottom part of my hand to simulate handwriting. It worked great.

Too close to hitting my peak and satisfaction because that monitor doesn't have a VESA screw hole : (

I tend to agree! Although it would ruin it aestheticly, vesa is far too useful to not have. I ended up using a Neewer Ipad clamp mount to hold it where I want it. Watch my video on Epomaker keyboard to see it.
