Today, I opened The Story Graph. The reading challenges tab allowed me to set a page-count goal and a book goal for 2022. Audio book lovers can set a goal for the number of hours listened.

Quit GoodReads because of the Amazon connection and never looked back. I wish Story Graph had more features, most notably the ability to discuss books or comment on reviews, but I don't regret making the move. In fact it feels liberating to not have the constant interaction to keep up with.

I switched over last year. Love the challenges. I’ve participated in several KZbinr challenges and love that easily adds books to the challenge. I also do the popsugar challenge and love that it’s on there. I also like that when I DNF a book I can mark where I left off in case I ever go back. Hope you like it!!

I just wish that the number of DNFs could be worked into the ratings somehow. No idea how it would be done, but I think it would a more accurate impression of how popular a book is. Maybe show the rating and a percentage of people who DNF'd the book?

THANK YOU for doing this!! I signed up for Storygraph but then stalled on using it because I'm so used to GR as a habit. I won't stop using it totally just because I have lots of friends and groups on there that I have so much history with I couldn't bear to leave them completely. So I'll have to figure out how to balance the two, because I really love Storygraph's features.

I tried to import my Goodreads and am actually glad it didn’t import. Like you my tastes have changed, etc. I just went with the free version for now. You’re one of the reasons I switched.

I switched last year and the only negative is that I cannot sort my books by the rating given. Other than that I would never go back to Goodreads! Also the Plus feature you can trial for free for a month and if yiu don't like it when the trial ends it is done you do not have to remember to cancel any payment plans as you set it up after you decide to continue using the plus features.
