I love how Cell is portrayed in the final part. His calm and prideful demeanor have gone out the window and he’s clearly losing it. Though unlike Frieza’s more manic meltdown, Cell is more frightening. He’s still pompous and charming, but he’s screaming and more so than ever before, everything he says is just dripping murderous intent. His “Worst case scenario, you die and get stronger. IT DID WONDERS FOR ME!” line is a great example of him just barely holding it together

A lot of people don't understand how perfect it is that Trunks and Vegeta flipped each other off at the end. Many guys are afraid to show vulnerability, and affection is vulnerability, so they don't do affection well. Instead, they express affection through mock aggression, so that nobody can accuse them of vulnerability. That's Vegeta all right, and Trunks knows to respond in kind.

Something people don't realize the weight in Vegeta helping Gohan finish off Cell, remember a few episodes back his speech about his Saiyan pride, not accepting help or magical healing to win the fight before Goku surrendered. How he'd sooner die than accept outside help. And after Cell killed Trunks, Vegeta apologized for the situation he caused Gohan being in protecting him. Maybe even allowing Cell to reach perfection in general, but on top of all that he violated the Saiyan tenant of the honor of the single's combat and interfered to aid Gohan.

Man the goku "youre better than him" speech really starts to hit different from where I first heard it. Now it feels like something everyone should be told once in their life. Also Kirby with the reaction's we've all been waiting for finally. We've watched for a year for a lot of pay offs but man after the TFS creator commentaries being a few weeks ahead of this it somehow feels different know all things we never caught/knew (or I didn't) its wild to see how much they brought back up.

Fun Fact: in the manga, Gohan was more than powerful to destroy cell with one hand in the beam struggle. He had the power all along, but he was afraid to let go because he didn’t want to accidentally destroy the earth. That’s why Goku in the originals kept saying to let go and stop holding back. But when he saw vegeta, a man of pride and arrogance, attack an enemy from behind to save the planet: he knew he had no choice but to risk blowing up the planet to save it otherwise cell would kill everyone anyway.

That's not true. It ws pretty clear in the Manga that Gohan would have lost. It was Vegetas attack who distracted Cell that gave Gohan the the chance to oberwhelm Cell with all his remaining power when Cell wasn't 100% focussed on the beam struggle anymore.

He was tho (unintentionally) holding back because he didnt believe he could do it when Goku knew the whole time he could. Perfect Cell is EASILY Takahata101's best role in this series. he's hilarious, terrifying (i'd call him hilarifying) and has a presence when he's on screen. his second best role is easily Alucard, followed by Deadpool. :) also, notice how when 18 and Krillin was getting it on, it was nighttime. that means that they went at it from dawn to night. that means that Krillin managed to make 18 tired by the end of it, and remember: 18 is still an android. and androids have unlimited stamina.

One thing I didn't notice until after rewatching 60 part 3 several times (and had someone point it out) is that, in the still of Android 16 with the birds at the end, when the image pans out, he has a halo over his head. The soulless ginger android still got to go to heaven in the end. That was a really sweet attention to detail touch to put there at the final moments, and was a happy ending only rivalled by Krillin's seconds later.

Man with the Commentaries ending and these two wrapping it up, it's like dbza is is ending for a third time. And with the commentaries we have the emotional send-off with the three of them and knowing what we know now, with Goku's speech pretty much being a note to the fans, makes it that much more impactful. Vegeta’s reaction to Trunks death was so sweet I love him actually being a father & how much he loves his family despite the constant criticism of him and then the apology heartbreaking. Gohan character is so incredible he may not want to fight Cell but he knows what he has to do to save his friends & family. Even though he’s currently the most powerful he still feels weak cause of his imperfections. Goku speeches to Gohan are truly a work of art he’s really proud of his son & only wanted the best for him. Perfect Cell was the ultimate villain not just because of his overwhelming power & skill but also cause he brought out something different in everyone Gohan fighting spirit, Goku’s tactical mind, Vegeta’s heart & humility, & Tien’s roaring power. Cell song really rapped up his journey beautifully.Best of all out boy Krillin finally got the ultimate W.😂I truly can’t believe we’re at the end it feels like just yesterday we introduced Kirby to DBZA I hope she had an amazing time

There was one other f bomb that was uncensored in dbza and that was when tien used a barrage of shin kikoho (aka neo tri beam in dubbed terms) it happens when roshi was saying "i can hear that from here" which is shortly followed by an uncensored f bomb by semi perfect cell

at 7:30 it is mainly because in OG Dragonball if you died and your body didn't make it you wouldbe force to use 2 wishes to bring people back. so you needed the body to resurect people. but somewhere in Z that part was lost

The thing that always gets me about the Vegeta Yes moment is Cell needed to brace himself for the blast. He's at a powerlevel that dwarfs what he has before when Vegeta had to use Final Flash to make a dent and Vegeta still made him flinch. Had he gone SSJ2 there as well Cell woulda shut up real quick
