6:40 So, Queue, this game uses rollback netcode, which means that rather than lagging waiting for communication from the other players, each player's game tries to predict what the other players are doing and simulates accordingly, and retcons when it gets word that they did something else. You can see a player die on your end and then magically come back to life because they managed to avoid it on their end, or vice versa, which I suspect is what happened here. Something weird happened with the spikes on Jacob's end, but Colin saw himself die immediately on the spikes, which I think is why they were splattered red when it updated.

@@NickelW Oh yeah it's definitely better, I wasn't arguing that it sucks or anything. No netcode will allow a perfectly seamless experience, but at least with rollback you can play normally and worry about what the other players are doing after the fact, rather than messing up constantly because the game is freezing you in place.
