Man, I wanted to talk you out of it, but as you explained it I understood. I've been watching your videos since the og lawnmower vlogs and the sharpie bike and all that. It really did feel like the C8 was your "I've made it" car and the Marlboro-esque Heatwave wrap made it the best looking Corvette I've seen. Dan, I also have a pretty advanced auto-immune disease (PSA). It’s along my spine and in the majority of joints. Now it’s doing funny stuff to my heart. With that being said, I took time off last year from work and focused on my health. I’m a different guy but have learned to pace myself. My money will come back but my health might’ve never recovered had I not of done it. Keep it up homie. You got this.

it's by far the coolest C8 I'll probably ever see imo (even wrap off tbh, the aero you chose looks so amazing) so I'm definitely going to miss seeing it on the channel but I'm sure the next thing will end up just as awesome. Just like the H2 I'll miss it for a while, and then eventually just remember it fondly while enjoying whatever you do next. It would be cool to see it stay and also see something new but with the medical expenses you definitely need to be making sure you can pay for that and keep yourself healthy first and foremost

I kinda did the same a while back. Had a nice truck, and big overkill trailer, just did not need that. Sold them both. Purchased my hero yet affordable car, and a cheap beater truck. Best thing I have ever done. I daily a R34 skyline now. Its a blast, fast and gets a lot of attention down here in Middle GA. I want to bring it up to the track at some point by you and do a track day. My only complaint... 100 octane fuel sucks to buy...

I hate mine as well, Bmw m4 great car in manual, but i really cant do much like i could with like a cheaper subaru sti , and have the same amount if not more fun in the cheaper one. I'm wanting the New Lotus with the v6 manual option, car looks insane 2024 Emira.. If we aren't constantly progressing on a build we aren't going to be content or happy , or have something to look forward too. Understand dan same I had to do with my 2003 miata project car that was a daily. The constant reliability issues made me lose a job and some opportunities in life. Also recover my back issues with health. Had to get rid of it and get a 2012 honda Accord sedan to have a stable reliable car to build my life and leave my parents house with roommates. Sometimes a adult decision to get rid of a car not needed happens. Later when I move out my parents may get a sports bike and keep my honda as a daily

TBH if you want to be a better driver, you need less car, I think. You've got the groundwork and the training to be safe, but you need more experience in something that won't hold your hand so much. Something cheaper and more thrashable that won't financially destroy you if you run off the track. That'd also probably be something you can build at the same time, which is perfect for you. I'll miss the C8 though. The heatwave wrap was a thing of beauty, and that car was probably the only one I've ever seen where wraps actually looked good instead of just looking like the owner was too cheap for paint. Sell it on consignment, maybe, so you don't get problems like last time?
