Probably using wrong ammo..that's not allowed in indoor gun range. Because of that reason.

1. Glad you're safe. 2. In regards to your problems with the Canik, I would thoroughly encourage purchasing better quality firearms. The 2A space is definitely an area where you get what you pay for.

Ive been hit in the shin by a ricochet. It wasnt fun and i never went back. If this happens, it proves they do not clean the fill and replace with new fill

Go to the junkyard and get an old brake drum. works great and since it's steel you won't be breathing any crap in.

Happened to me when I was in the military coaching on the rifle range. We were doing a maneuver portion of qualification. Ricocheted and hit me in the upper ab/ diagram area. I wasn’t wearing a flak so that was on me. Hit hard enough to break skin but not bad.

What is infuriating about this bike is that it adds another beginner bike to the list while gutting the mid level. The R3/03 is perfect for beginners, and the R1/10 is ridiculous. My 09 is good level of almost too crazy, and the R7 was hyped to be that missing link. Instead, it’s a Ninja 650 and there isn’t a middle category anymore

I bought an r7 as my first bike and I absolutely love it, so easy and love it on the turns. I'm 6'2 or 187cm and pretty big, but compared to my friend's 6c6 and even a Honda cbr500, I find the riding position pretty comfortable! Although I disagree with some of the things you said I loved this video because of the honesty and the humor. "Monkey fucking a football" made me tear up from laughing.

As a former RSO or "Range safety officer," for a big in door range that hosts law enforcement and even the US Air Marshall's qualification. I have never heard of that at an indoor range that was kept properly maintained and clean. We had a daily range walk, while the range was cold. Can you imagine one of our patrons in a class get hit, and we say, "It happens all the time." To them and see how long we last.

Dan what’s your current EDC CCW these days? I know you own quite a few pistols for carry defense despite not training with them often. Also when getting a brand new pistol, they come with preservative oil not true firearm lube, and all it does is prevent rust while it sits waiting to be sold. You ALWAYS wanna fully clean a new pistol and wipe all that preservative oil off thoroughly before you fire a new handgun. And all I do on mine is a drop of Remington gun oil on the four contact pads where the slide slips across, the part of the barrel where the recoil/ guide rod sits, and the tip of the barrel. This is usually the go to method for striker fired and over lubricating can actually be worse. But always always clean the storage oil they put on them from the factory before firing and use good gun oil before first fire. Another possible reason for the sticking/ failure to fire or eject, some pistols are picky about what ammo they like. It could be an amazing brand ammo like federal but some pistols just don’t like it for example. Also every pistol is rated for a specific weight and velocity ammo as well. Try cleaning it good and lube it up, and try a different range ammo. I usually go with Federal American Eagle 124g since my carry ammo is federal HST’s 124g. You wanna practice with the same weight load as your defensive carry ammo. And it’s also a good idea to practice with your preferred defensive carry ammo as well from time to time to be as prepared as possible god forbid you ever need to use them. Hopefully no more ricochet shots!!
