Jessie, member of the anti-Shinra organization AVALANCHE from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, joins the fray as a PLAY ARTS KAI action figure!
Based on her updated look in REMAKE. From her metallic armor, to her bandana, and even her waist pouches, no detail from her design in REMAKE was spared. Her face pieces are interchangeable, allowing you to pose her while she’s smiling or winking.

I love these figures, I’m collecting the FF7 Remake line after all. But honestly I don’t think they are worth the price, even with their size. The quality is just not good enough, particularly in the faces and articulation department, for that price point. I have 6 inch figures from Mafex, SH Figuarts, Sentinel… with similar price points that are much more worth it. But I am a huge FF7 fan to the core, so I look the other way. But purely objectively, I’d say a 90-100$ price point would be much more fair than the regular 150$. Luckily, they are often discounted if one is willing to do a little research.

I have the 4 playable characters cloud tifa aerith and barret, also got red 13 and sephiroth, i understand why people aren't buying.... its jessie 😬 she's not exactly an A class character and these sell for £150 to £200! i mean if they released weiss or genesis after zack comes out and they didnt sell id be shocked! The only problem i have with these amazing figures is space! My glass cabinet is full and there releasing the bring arts ff7 soon! Much more space since there around 6 to 7 inches

I got Cloud with the bike, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII from this line. Thats pretty much all the room available in one display unit in a detolf. I'd kinda like to get Jessie but she really doesn't fit in. Perhaps if they made a Bigs and Wedge I'd expand the line.

I have Jessie Rasberry in my collection. I actually preferred her over getting 2B since I was buying Aerith in dress ver tbw... Now I have 2B KO which is about pretty much the same as the og. Glad I waited it that long, around 1 & 1/2 year...

They are certainly pricey. But for the size compared to some other brands I think they are just about right. Obviously not NECA or Hasbro, but Mafex, etc

It’s a scale thing, Play Arts Kai only scale with themselves as they’re 10 inch scale, not 7 inch like Diamond Select, NECA or McFarlane and not 12 inches like Hot Toys or Threezero. Collectors like things that they can pose next to other figures regardless of the manufacturer.

I loved Jessie in the Remake. Even if i didn't like the breastplate. I would have like something more modern like they did with Barret, something similar to the Shinra MP (that more plastic like look on their armor instead of metal) or something more historicaly accurate.

My teen daughter loves these, but their price isn't justified. She really only wanted Sephiroth, but now he's going for around $200. I think Square would have been better off to let these exist in a Figma or SH Figuarts line where they would look good, but also be more affordable.

Yeah, people don't care about Jessie. The Play Arts Kai Jessie + Cloud + Bike set was released a year ago and the sales are so bad that they dropped from $410 to the $200s range on many sites. I even found one for $150 lol... and that's with Cloud to help boost her popularity in the set!

For me, she's too expensive considering some of the outdated design choices like the elbow and knee joints, the flat simple paints on the face, and those weird gaps under her ears. And that one face is definitely cross-eyed. And the deal-breaker for me, is those are NOT Jessie's face. Her face is sharp and straight, her eyes are narrower and more angular-- you look at her from a distance and her eyes are basically slits. Meanwhile, the figure has some curve on the cheeks and wide rounded eyes-- making her overall face rounder as a result.

I remember that really caused a up roar because a lot of fans were looking forward to that one.. SE needs to get into the 1/6 line with their female figures.

I think of the price like the other imports like Mafex. The pricing is similar but these are larger. Both are hard to go all in on because of pricing. I typically only get a couple things and I’m done, but I do think they are worth the price I’m the end.

Why you ask? Because theyre too big, too expensive, and the face detail can be off with some characters. The playarts kai line can also have real odd loose joints. Wish there was a better final fantasy figure line

BTW SE really needs to get into the 1/6 figures as far as their female characters go. The dress figures are a miss for me, because the dress is still plastic. I think the ladies in the dresses would justify the price tag more if they were official 1/6 figures from SE with actual cloth dresses. Them play arts kai figures are worth $50. $100 figures would be the 1/6 because they look extremely realistic and have cloth clothing

They can definitely do cloth at this scale (and smaller). I agree that they should have more soft goods. I was surprised that Cloud from Advent Children had a cloth piece. The Aerith in a dress looks great but is best as a statue due to the limited articulation. A cloth dress would have fixed that

play arts keeps hicking up their prices while tamashi nations, hasbro, and so many other brands of different prices and qualities, keep making them more accessible and better quality... Square exploits our stupidity... when i saw those 2 vagrant story characters for...i dont know like 200$, yes beautiful figures, my fav squaresoft game of all time... but am i stupid to even consider giving them money to have an overprices piece of plastic? i collect some figures, and it is ridiculous, so many better things could be done with that kinda money. I remember paying like... 30$ for the old adventy children play arts, when they had a fraction of the articulation or sculpt details, and i have to say... I settle for those... These new play arts are impossible to justify. Just compared what the cost would be to have a lineup... No.
