Try Bohm at leadoff. He's the only Phillie not slumping over the past 60 games. Hit Turner 2nd. Turner will see more fastballs with Bohm on base often enough. Drop Schwarber to cleanup. Keep Harper 3rd. The 2-4 hitters will see more fastballs to hit this way.

Great podcast! One suggestion… can you guys get Jim a good mic? Audio of Todd and Ruben always sounds great, but Jim always sounds far away and muffled. Thanks

Rob Thompson can definitely switch up the lineups but other than that he can't go out there and swing the bat for these guys who are making the big bucks

Ruben said it's obvious The Braves have something on The Phillies on how to pitch to them....? So do The Red Sox, Orioles, A's, Pirates, Twins, Guardians, Yankees, Mariners, D-backs (all the most recent teams that have won series with The Phillies since June)

The whole league knows how to pitch these guys. Throw in tin the dirt and they will swing and blame Brandon Marsh for everything. Then Harper will argue with the ump for bad calls and the ump can say why are you mad you always swing at that shit.

Can we stop making excuses for this team please? Every team had or has injuries! Dodgers, Braves, Brewers, Yankees etc. Stop making excuses and admit the fact that they flat out stink for the last 6 weeks! Stop making excuses!! These At Bats are UNWATCHABLE! Theyre embarrassingly bad approaches at the plate! Hence double digit K's every game! Stop with the excuses!

They are an un-disciplined bunch of individuals at the top of the lineup. They are uncoachable!

Took their foot off the gas and can't seem to put the magic back in the bottle. Thompson's "wait and see" attitude was clearly held on to for far too long. There is clearly a formula that opposing teams are using to expose their hitters. The formula is quite obvious, therefore a solution should be easy to figure out. Yet every night they seem to have made no progress. It's very frustrating.

Harper is obviously playing injured over the past 30 games or so. Realmuto still recovering from surgery and is a shell of himself offensively. Ranger and Turnbull we're an integral part of the early season success. Losing them to injury took this team down several notches in effectiveness. That is my take on the main reasons why the Phillies have been in a freefall over the past 60 games. It's questionable if these players will heal up and return to form in time for the playoffs to make a difference.

oh stop with the injury excuse. Lack of contact at the plate has nothing to do with an injury. Have you seen the Braves and their injury list? And theyre going to be less than 5 games behind the Phils by Monday

This team has no manager, they have no on field leader because they let Harper get rid of Hoskins who was the team leader.

The team isn’t struggling because of Brandon Marsh! If your sending him down then send for the same reason Harper, Schwarber, Turner, Castellanos. That’s the problem with this organization. You wasted half a season on Pache before you realized he couldn’t play major league. You guys are clueless.
