Sometimes I do a pieced backing. I haven’t decided on a backing for this quilt just yet. I would say if you make a scrap pieced backing, make sure it is really pressed well. If you are sending it to a long armer be aware that they may not be able to center it perfectly. I also sometimes take fat quarters that match the front close enough and maybe I’m not so fond of the fabric and use them for backings. Maybe I can do a video when I piece a backing. You can save this video. go to the ". . ." on the far right and select save. You can create a private list for yourself, and you can create more than one list that might have homogeneous items in them (e. .g "quilts", "exercise", "Excel" ...)

That is the problem with white but it does make the stars and the chain block pop. If I had small children, I may make it with a different color background but mine are grown.
